Yes. The question here I want to ask is Pakistan a fragile, banana, weak state? Right now we have couple of thousands of rowdy JUI-F supporters in H-9 Islamabad threatening the removal of a elected PM into one year of his term with four years left. The article from Dawn got me thinking.
"A massive crowd of tens of thousands of charged men exactly 7km from the Red Zone facing nothing but empty containers constitutes a huge existential problem. The police? Ah, well how many policemen armed with how many batons, equipped with how many tear-gas shells brandishing how many shields do you require to stop the 7km march by tens of thousands of men?"

So the question is 7 Kms separate Mullah Diesel from PMIK. How can the state be worried about not being able to secure 7Kms? Why is the police of riot police incapable of protecting the red zone? Is this what Pakistan is? Mob rule? If you can get a mob then you can charge the red zone? We saw something similiar with TLP Rizvi doing the same thing some time back.
Can we please secure Islamabad before we secure the blue seas. If money is a issue sell some navy ships but for gods sakes raise at least 20,000 man riot police force with dedicated water cannons, equipment and training. Is this to much to ask?
It is impossible to complate mobs threatening Washington, London, Paris, Moscow, New Delhi or Ankara in Turkey. And they would not need the army to handle this threat. India has CPRF, Turkey has Gendarma etc.
Situations like this paint Pakistan as a weak and fragile country.
This is what happen when establishment backed PTI dharna of 2014 was allowed for 4 months. Imran Khan and his minions have only taken u turn since coming to power. Attacking parliament, PTV HQ, police etc Moulana dharna has been peaceful compared to that so far.

The last two generals that actually had balls were Lt gen Asad Durrani and Lt gen Hamid Gul.. After that , most generals were way too pacifist. Indians and Americans used to fear both of them. You should read the recent article of Lt gen Asad Durrani in which he described how Pakistan's political and military elite have become way too pacifist. He explained that a country , like Pakistan should always be on aggression or perceived to be in that mode if she(the state of Pakistan) want to survive in a hostile neighborhood.
I guess , we are digging our own graves by pussyfooting.
I saw a video in which the march leader tells everyone to give way for Ambulance and they all actually do in all that crowd.
From the pictures I have seen, it seems much more organized.
PTI dharna attacked, entered red zone, and paralyzed an entire city but COAS advised to avoid violence and not use force on own people.
@The Eagle thinks however army implying force this time is justified.

Nice BS.
Have you forgotten what happened to TLP later ? Khadim Rizvi saab ki hawa kiss ne nikali baad mein ?
Using mobs to displace governments is not new. It is as old as the hills. Go back to anti-Ahmedi riots, back to anti- Ayub mobs, back to anti-Bhutto movement in 1978 it goes on and on.Wish you would have asked that Question, when PTI introduced this new chapter in Pakistani Politics syllabus in 2014.
Entirely different scenarios... Right now , external threats are far power important to deal with + Kashmir issue + economy.
None of that was present during 2014...

Sit on's and blocking capital in Pakistan was introduced by PTI and TLP took that to new heights.Using mobs to displace governments is not new. It is as old as the hills. Go back to anti-Ahmedi riots, back to anti- Ayub mobs, back to anti-Bhutto movement in 1978 it goes on and on.
Would you like to refer my words/quote the relevant post at-least so I can at-least introspect before replying to you.
Regards,
To be frank Maulana isn't doing march for Pakistan either. He is corrupt to core.Economy wasn't an issue in 2014, yes we know why.
Kashmir is not an issue we can solve.
Biggest issue is economy and incompetence of Government with domestic near-scandals upon scandals. That's the reason this March is happening!
There is no foreign threat. Just excuses.
Edit: Forgotten so quick? Terrorism in 2014? Pakistan was most riddled with terrorism, today's situation is times upon times better than 2014 in terms of security.
