I saw that yesterday in CBS, it was really disturbing. What was the motive? Why were they kept hungry and tied to the bed when food and clothing was available just next door?

True, but how can you expect them to live peacefully? when their parents were killed during invasion, their country is occupied by foreign forces and is pretty much unstable. Infiltrated by Alqeda. everyday suicide bombings. now this.

War destroyed their infrastructure & funding options. hell people dont have enough to eat, why will they care about unknown children ; I am pretty sure they have many of them wandering around in streets of Baghdad.

Actually those children are in that situation because USA went to Iraq.

During Saddams regime the orphanages were working . The civil war like situation allows things like that to happen.

US cant manage funds; you remember billions of dollars stolen in the name of construction & rebuilding? how will they keep eyes on orphanages while they are securing oil resources

Insurgents are more to blame than the US. They kept on disrupting the supply lines. How can they supply the hospitals when the miltants bomb the ******* supply truck.

Adux is right in regards to the guy who ran it being slime (thats why he went on the run) You don't starve children in order to make money on the black market. I don't care about whether there is a war on or not.

I am happy US soldiers and Iraqi soldiers helped these kids, they deserve respect whatever politics and our view points maybe. They are soldiers who saved kids who have already lost everything in their life.
