Iraqi army members accusing US of air-dropping supply crates to ISIS in Baiji refinery

.
that's why they(ISIS) were advancing in syria day by day despite the so called allied air strikes on them..

.
Kinds explains why despite US bombing for over a year ISIS have been advancing at a shocking rate and why US has been in such a foul mood since Russia joined in. Its only till the Russian involvement that ISIS have suffered a few set backs otherwise they looked fully ready to take control of a huge chunck of Syria.

Well, your words would be valid, if we haven't seen the Iraqi Army and the kurds retake and expand during the US bombing. It would also sound correct, if ISIS did not expand to northern Aleppo with the help of the russian Air Force. At the moment, Russians only bombed the rebels who are fighting ISIS and by that they became ISIS airforce.

Conspiracy theories might sound good and comfortable, but it is not the truth as the truth always hurts.

shoot it down with S-400

You wish to shoot down your own Amercan Jet ?, I thought you are an American superboy :D

The US bombing began a year ago when the Iraqi govt asked them to help them curb Isis... Since then ISIS has stronghold despite bombing has not been beaten back. In fact it was during the US led missions that ramadi fell to ISIS control and in Syria the US bombing was a complete failure as despite the bombing the ISIS held firm and even made their capital in Syria where they openly and actively participated in inhuman activities. The US lack of curbing the ISIS in Syria and Iraq could be due to its lack of focus and co ordination with the region forces in the area like the russian are working together with the Assad army and thus have been able to retake cities more aggressively...

Despite the western propaganda where the US has been crying mostly the Russian bombing has hit ISIS and as for the Aleppo we must remember that Russia has just joined in with military intervention. If after a year Russia is also unable to curb the ISIS then I will call them a failure as well bcz Russia and america are two very advanced militaries thus I am more critical of the US that despite having taken action for about 1.5 years against ISIS they have still not been able curb their advances and moreover before the recent Iraqi resurgance they actually lost cities during the bombing. With the technological advancement USA boasts one would expect a much better performance.

I am well aware that Russia is no saviour here and their purpose is simply to keep al Assad regime just like the Arabs are no saviours and their purpose is to remove Assad... If tomorrow ISIS makes a deal with Assad then Russia will stop attacking them...

Russia has been attacking any threat that includes ISIS to Assad. I am watching this Russian intervention with great interest and let's see if it goes better than the US intervention which bore little to no fruits. We will know soon enough in a few months time.. The Assad forces have also become more aggressive in counter taking cities with Russian help.

Although I would agree with what you have said, I just need to bring your attention on some issues. US does not operate on the ground, the Iraqi army does, the US cannot force the Iraqi army from retreating like cowards and abandoning their arsenal when they saw ISIS coming in Ramadi. It is the lack of motive for the Iraqi army that led to the fall of Ramadi. The opposite case is clear for the kurds, who have shown that they are ISIS's greatest enemies as they are fighting for a motive just like ISIS scums and thus have high morale on the ground. The kurds' mission is successful with the help of American Air Force. Also, Alassad did not retake any CITY until now, with the help of russians or not. You are totally correct when you said that the US did a mistake by not coordinating with the right people. for the past year, the only people who fought ISIS aggressively were FSA, Alnusra and the kurds. The only time when ISIS attacked Alassad was when they took Tadmur (Palmyra) and during that time the butcher retreated without any proper fight. The butcher did not use barrel bombs in Raqqa (ISIS capital), he used it in Aleppo, Idlib, Hama and homs. He used it on the rebels and not on ISIS. Thus, Alassad is not the right person to coordinate with when it comes to ISIS since he did not fight them.

Recently, the US announced they will coordinate with selected leaders within the FSA to counter ISIS.

Without the US and Arab air support in the fight against ISIS, the same ISIS would still be ruling all majority Sunni Arab areas of Iraq which means 50% of the country in terms of geography.

The Iraqi Army has faced so many humiliating defeats and embarrassments (unfortunately) that they should just be grateful for the help they get. Nobody is entitled to help them. They (the Al-Maliki cretin and his regime) wanted the Americans out as fast as possible and claimed that they would have no problem keeping law and order.

We all saw that, lol.

The current Iraqi army is a joke compared to what it was under Saddam Hussein.

It's not even a country as we once knew it anymore. KRG is basically a country of its own and I can't see why and how the Iraqi Sunni Arabs who inhabit 50% of Iraq's geography will ever accept the current status quo and whether the Shia and Sunni Arabs (as a whole) will ever trust each other.

Same story with Syria. Federalism is the way forward in the Arab world. An Iraqi Sunni Arab from Fallujah and an Iraqi Shia Arab from Basra might as well live in two different countries. They have not much more in common with each other than a Basrawi has with a Saudi Arabian and Kuwaiti next door or a person from Fallujah has with a Syrian Sunni Arab from Deir-ez-Zor in Eastern Syria.

All those people were Arabs before 1919 who mostly identified with their region in the Arab world, clan, tribe, religion etc. and they will be that in the future too regardless of state borders who to begin with are artificial regardless where they are.

Which brings me to the need for uniting as Arabs and abolishing/reforming failed/idiotic recent constructs.

The pathetic cowardice of the Iraqi Army presumably has nothing to do with it.

Same story with Syria.

Iraqi government is playing double game, behind scenes there is major US cooperation. For domestic consumption they want to portray US as sponsor of ISIS in order to make Iraqi Shia's believe in the 'Resistance' project and so corruption can go on with the religious pandering bullshit mafia business.

It's not cowardice, they are still Arabs and have more than balls than most of us here. It's simply not viable solution for them to govern some Sunni areas if they don't change their societal approach. Their problem is they take religion seriously and go around all of Iraq telling people this is Shia country and they will put their flags/slogans in Sunni areas no matter what. Basically sectarian peoples using 'history'(Which might not be even true) to continue Shia-Sunni fued.

They are playing on two horses. US/West and Russia. All with the intention to try and achieve the same goal (removal of ISIS) and regime control of most of Iraq. For internal consumption they have to portray themselves as not too friendly to US due to recent hostile shared history and I don't blame them for that but they have no right to complain as nobody has a duty to help the Iraqi army other than a moral one.

The cretin Al-Maliki (who is still pulling the strings in the background along with his Shia militias) and his regime wanted the Americans out as quickly as possible and claimed that they would have no problem with keeping law and order. Obama, being critical of the Iraqi invasion from the beginning of his political career and the US public being tired of the presence in Iraq, complied.

I have always been saying that the anti-West camp in the ME/Muslim world/world as a whole is one of the most idiotic camps out there.

A lot of the fighting on the ground is done by Shia miltiias who are almost as brutal as ISIS.
