Iran economy is not at all bleak rather it is in historic transition, although this is slow and painful due sanctions but it is way ahead than other Persian gulf countries in diversifying it’s economy.
Iran is now only 20% dependent on oil
Non oil trade even with sanctions in 2019 was around 85 billion dollars.
Other than oil economy has expanded in all sectors.
Resistance economy is based on self reliance expansion of trade in region and high production in all sectors
In agriculture now Iran is 90% self sufficient
In industry in many strategic areas like steel and cement it is in top 20 countries
In science and knowledge it is expanding at a rapid pace
Sanctions of no sanctions Iran is moving ahead with great resistance economy anchored on self reliance and integrated in region and like minded countries.
