The turret comes from a ZSU-57 SPAAG, the searchlight from a truck probably.

It comes with a fire extinguishers on it.......attached:P

The chassis of MBT 2016 is definitely M-47 / Sabalan based. Upper hull and turret seem different.
Is this not call 'Tiam'?

So, the upper hull has changed. The gun mantlet seems more like a russian or chinese pattern. The hatches also seem from that origin/pattern. The turret is also smaller (lower) than that of the Sabalan and the original M-47
Compare e.g. Type-62 light tank. Have they mated a Type-62 or Type-59/69 (T-54/55) turret to the M-47 chassis? The top-hull modification may be to allow for a wider turret ring. If so, then e.g. gun sight might be same as with Type-72Z / Safir-74 (upgraded Type-59 and T-54/55). The gun is a 105mm.

M-47M. Note the enlarged engine compartment which carries the Continental AVDS-1790-2A V12, air-cooled Twin-turbo diesel engine of the M-60A1, rather than the original Continental AV-1790-5B V12, air-cooled, Twin-turbo gasoline engine

As compared to French M-47:

Now, for the turret,...

Compare the gun mantle.

The turret is T54/55

Iranian friends dont my comments as insult or any thing but this tank does look ordinary infact other than lots of charges/explosive plates what`s so special about it ?

I'm amazed at the Iranian penchant for mixing and matching components from difference combat vehicles. E.g. a modified BTR-60 sporting an M47M turret base. The above vehicle: an M-47M or M-48 hull, modified to accept a T-54/55 aka Type-59/69 turret. How is the above tank better than the basic M-47Mm esp. in Sabalan version (whose flat surfaces on hul and turret could easily accommodate ERA too)?

Iran is already Mass producing Zulfiqar - 2/3 MBTs, also their are in talks with Russia for T-90s. how many Tanks Iran is going to produce for it's Military ?

There is no such thing and from the things i read during T-90 purchase discussions i say Zulfiqar project already abondoned.

Which tanks are the backbone of Iranian Army ?
It's a rather mixed bag.

Type-59, Type-69, T-54/55, T-72Z Safir-74 (200, 200, 100, 238. So, total = 738)
T-72S (480, but apparently 563 delivered)
M-47M, M-60 (168 (of which 68 Sabalan) remaining of 400 delivered, 150 > total 318)
Chieftain and variants : at least 100, likely more (700 or so originally delivered)
Zulfiqar, all marks (150+)
T-62 (80)

Why the Iranians are spending their time more on modernizations projects instead of developing one mbt which can replace all of those old steels ?
