Joining the GCC alliance against Iran in Yemen would have set of an initial sectarian bloodbath and created massive political upheaval at a time Pakistan was already vulnerable.
I disagree. This assessment is all speculation. Yes, there were internal challenges, but Pakistan made a blunder of a strategic level at that time. Plus Pakistan provide room for Indians to make inroads into GCC.

Iran has nothing to offer Pakistan. Iranian lobby in Pakistani politics and media is so far successful in derailing Pakistan foreign policy when it comes to regional vital interest.

Pakistanis cry about Zionist control of US, without realizing US establishment is far more nationalistic and strong and wouldn’t sacrifice it National interest for Israeli. However, Pakistani establishment is at the mercy of khomeinist itself.

I disagree that it is at an establishment level - more towards the main party in Sindh and elements within the Punjabi party. Religious leaders from the common sect with Iran also hold a lot of clout in certain establishment circles along with controlling the major media houses.

The establishment is then beholden to these elements despite efforts by elements to sway towards that alliance.
Both options were blunders - because those were the fait accompli presented.

Who exactly cares???

China is enough to put Iran into her place vis-à-vis vital Pak interests (e.g., helping Baloch terrorists) as Iran is receiving the Chinese investments. The Yellow folks are tough taskmasters, and I like it....

Pak needs to fence and mine her border with Iran ASAP! Couple it with 24/7 drone and terrestrial sensor based survey.....

You know what I feel, when It comes to making Pakistan's foreign Policy there are no right decision, some decision might seems right at the moment or for the time being but eventually we are like, wish we had/had not have done it or etc...I think Pakistan fate and future was change the day we decided to go nuclear and since then major Power are constantly trying to destabilize it one way or another...

Iran, many don't want to accept is extremists Shia and their sectarian ideology drive their Policies for creating allies and enemies on a worldly scale, Yemen and Syria are prime example of it, they are just as you said with India try to keep this dead Panjshir resistance alive or some pockets of resistance from Tajikistan, to make sure that Afghanistan and Pakistan remain unstable, unfortunately our Habibi's in GCC will look at us and remind us about the Alliance they were so eager for us to join, but it all comes down to that when it comes to Pakistan there are no right decisions.

I smell Khatmal :D
Right policy is doing the right thing (Islamically). This way atleast you have direction and moral standing for your decisions. First due to wrong policies, establishment almost started an insurgency and than when barbell bomb were being dropped in Syria and your longtime strategic friends feel encircled and threatened and asked for support, confused establishment showed it’s rear.

Bhai last time I talked about their Lobbying in Pakistan's media, Politics and Army Mods gone mad over it, unfortunately PDF pe sab ko bas GCC ki Lobbying nazar ati hai, Iran ka naam ate hi sab andhe ho jate hai, unfortunately our Army and Politics are full of these people :( and any Alliance with GCC will face major critics from within the Powerful lobbies.

So that’s how the Iranian tactic works. Mobilize well placed assets in media and politics. Start labeling critics as Wahabi, takfiri.

Spend some cash on unknown Halwa molvis, fund them to organize milad and other rallies to keep their pockets full. Call them on TV and Use people like Amir liaqt Hussain to start an argument between Sunnis. While khomeinist are doing their work behind the scene.

It works for them didn't it? I forget his name but one of their highest Ayatuallah has said, that if Shia's are not in Majority then practice Taqqiaya, lie and be dishonest about your faith and true intention, this is what we are seeing in Pakistan and other countries where they are in minority... but from time to time their Taqqiya mode gets off and then you have majalis like Ghoray ka sadqa Pakistan, and Abbas can raise the dead (Laddan Jaffary) but unfortunately we have to many Shia Sunni bhai bhai idiots in our country, For me I can't call someone or people my brothers who abuse/insult my Sahahba and Wives of Prophet Period.
So I have Good Shia friends and we talked about it. they are straight forward about their beliefs and I am straight forward about my conclusion on their beliefs. Rest we all are going in our own grave, so I don’t stress, neither do they.

I think issue isn’t what they believe, issue is don’t lie about (taqia) crazy beliefs and than try to merge into main stream Muslims. Just do your thing like Qaddianis.

Good or bad is matter of prospectus, you can judge someone to be good or bad unless you know they are speaking the truth, why Speaking the Truth is so Important in Islam? because with concepts of Taqqiya you can never know who is telling Truth and who is just Lying... and the whole Idea of Only Allah can judge is wrong, Allah is the ultimate judge but you/others can judge or else there is no point of Judge/Qazi/Rasool/Khalifa or Shariyat, Allah send messengers in order lay the foundation on which we (Humans) can act/guide and judge.

Coming back to the Topic, Iran is just upset because some of the leaders whom they ask Taliban to include in Govt were not included and maybe Indians told them that ISI did it or Pakistan did it, or maybe they supported Taliban with hope of increase Chaos in Afghanistan, if America and Taliban kill each other Iranians will be happy as they are enemies to both, now with American gone and Taliban (hard line) Sunni's they are trying to keep a pocket of resistance alive to keep a situation like Syria and Yemen... I don't see any other logical reason for Iran to be acting crazy.

Yap, that’s what they wanted. Leverage to call shots in Afghanistan. They wanted a free ride, on Panshiri bargain chip.

Saudis are from the tribe call Saud from the area Najd, while Quresh is a different tribe from Hejaz. Saudis are the ones that sided with the British and betrayed their fellow Muslims the Ottomons during the 1st world war. They also invaded Hejaz and made it part of their Kingdom. So don't equate Saudis with Quresh

The only worthy king from the Saudis was King Faisal which actually took a stand against the Zionest and due to which he was killed by his own nephew.
Incorrect. It was the sharif of Makkah who sided with the british, he was a hashimi, and hence, a Quraishi. Arabia was divided among his people by british and french. iraqi and syrian kingdoms were overthrown by the baath party, and saudis made short work of kingdom of hejaz.

Have you ever see a Sunni Insulting Sahabah or Mothers of Believers? ever See a Sunni invoking Ali RA or other " Imams " and ask for help? I don't want to go in detail but you or anyone else can not change my mind when I have done my own extensive research on this subject.

I'm not sure I understand your point, or maybe you misunderstood mine.

Also to answer your question, a few years ago Zakir Naik was given a lot of abuse for suggesting the martyrdom of Hussain (RA) was a political matter. He also used the title Radiallahu Anhu for Yazeed. Also Sunni Muslims do say the term Ya Ali. I don't understand how we got to this point in the conversation though, i am confused.

=========

I guess the point i was trying to make was that I don't think for the majority that Pakistan/Iran/Saudi relations have a religious tint to them. This only applies to fringe elements and I also think on the most part in Pakistani politics Islam is only used as a gimmick to woo conservative voters and not something any of our political parties hold as key to their political ideologies.

What would people say about the Hashmite Kingdom of J'ordan, which is ruled by a Hashimi and truly in the pockets of the West!!!
Lol as if Pakistan can play the supa powa role

No , but it surely can defeat the purposes and aims of "Super Powers" and defeat them achieving their goals. Proven twice in Afghanistan. You still need evidence!!
What did you do exactly in Iraq!!
