TEHRAN - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani underlined Tehran’s enthusiasm for increasing development of the relations and cooperation with Pakistan, especially in political and economic fields.
“Iran is ready to expand political and economic relations with Pakistan in a move to further promote and develop the level of economic cooperation between the two countries,” Rouhani said in a meeting with Pakistan’s incoming Ambassador to Tehran Nourmohammad Jadmani here on Saturday.
He hailed the age-old and historical relations with Pakistan, expressing the hope that cooperation between the two countries would further enhance in light of increased security and stability in Pakistan.
Jadmani, for his part, announced that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif plans to visit Iran in the near future, and said, “In addition to its serious will to develop economic relations and cooperation with Iran, Pakistan is determined to try to fight terrorism” which has been a major concern for both states.
Iran and Pakistan already enjoy good economic cooperation. The two countries officially inaugurated the construction phase of a gas pipeline project in March 2013 which is due to bring Iran’s rich gas reserves to Pakistan.

Iran ready to broaden ties with Pakistan: Rouhani

Rouhani can try

But sorry. Pakistan cannot do business as long as iran is under sanctions.

Pakistan doesn't have hard cash to do under the table business.

Sorry

This Political Jostling will get heated up as the NATO forces leave Afghanistan in 2014 and Regional Powers Jostle to fill in the vacuum. We need to cooperate with all the parties as long as our National interests and those of our allies are met. It would be a good idea for all interested parties to get on the same page.

Pakistan-Iran relations are a joke Just like Pakistan-Turkey relations. Pakistan should continue to enhance relations with Arab Sharif and China which so far have been very fruitious for Pakistan, Arab Sharif and China since the 1970s.
