Other achievements displayed in the exhibition include Akhgar missiles mounted on Iranian drones which can hit targets at 30km away, Qassed 3 cruise missiles carried by F-4D/E Phantom fighters with the capability of hitting targets at 100km, air-based Shahin drones with jamming capability which can be mounted on fighter jets, a new version of Shahed 129 drone with an operational range of 2,000km, flight durability of 24 hours and capability to conduct patrolling and reconnaissance operations and destruction of targets with bombs and missiles, RQ-170 drones, Saeqeh-2 drones, which have already been in missions against the Takfiri terrorists and their leaders in Eastern Euphrates region in Syria, with the capability to carry smart bombs, and Mohajer-6 drones, equipped with home-made Qa'em missiles. Iran has made great achievements in developing drones and missiles after the Islamic Revolution.
Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force, had already underlined Iran's major advances in designing and manufacturing different state-of-the-art drones. "We are even ahead of the top world powers in the drones sector and we are way ahead of them," General Hajizadeh said, addressing a ceremony in the Northern city of Qazvin. He described Iran as the top regional power in the sector, saying that the country had been able to develop different types of home-made missiles as well. "The young Iranian people have managed to put the country at the peak of power with their excellent ideas in the radar, missile and drone sectors," General Hajizadeh said.
