Iran-China strategic partnership: where does it leave India?

India's halfhearted support for Iran was what caused Iran to unceremoniously dump India. When it came to the crunch India showed it's true treacherous colours and started behaving like an imperial poodle. Surprised it took that long for Iranians to see the Indian game. Not only is this a trade move but will have substantial military implications as Iran -China defence pact is enhanced and matures creating a more stable region and a threat to Israel. The higher Chinese investment in Iran means China sees Iran as a better long term strategic investment than Pakistan, Iran has more resources, more significant location and borders countries with huge natural resources.
