This is U.S. Dollar denominated imports. Corona virus slowdown and Saudis oil price war flooding the market caused a worldwide oversupply. Crude prices fell drastically over the year.
Oil imports from Saudi Arbia arae down 10% as well on the same metric.
Oil imports from India are down 96% on the same metric. Does that mean India is being isolated?
Reality is that China actually imported more oil.
