Inspector killed during raid on PTM activists’ house: police
Abdus Salam July 05, 2019

BANNU: A police inspector was killed and another injured when Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) activists allegedly opened fire on a raiding police team here on Thursday.

Regional Police Officer Abdullah Khan and District Police Officer Yasir Afridi said at a press conference that Bannu and Naurang police personnel had raided a house in Bannu Township after getting information that two PTM activists Haneefullah Wazir and Shaheenullah wanted by police in different cases were hiding there.

They said police personnel besieged the house and asked the suspects to surrender but they did not give any response. When the personnel tried to enter the house, the PTM activists opened fire on them. As a result, Inspector Zaheer and Constable Shakirullah were injured and shifted to a hospital, where the former succumbed to his injuries.

The two senior officers said the police had arrested Haneefullah, Shaheenullha and their facilitator Faheemullah, the owner of the house, and seized two pistols from their possession. They said the accused were wanted by Bannu and Lakki Marwat police in different cases, including murder and attempt to murder under sections 324, 353, 34 7 of the ATA, 15AA, etc.

The officers said a ban had been imposed on public gatherings and delivering provocative speeches against state institutions under Section 144 in Bannu Division.

PTM is done for, it's senior leadership has been rounded up, these are just the stragglers. Pakistan should make a formal request via Interpol for the 'enablers' sitting in the west to be extradited to Pakistan under ATA 15. Luckily most of them are in the UK with whom Pakistan has recently signed an extradition agreement. :agree:

Time is not far when full flow operation will start against PTM (TTP) & Afghanis in Pakistan

They just dug their own graves. The sacrifice of the brave inspector shall not go in vain. These three fools, along with many of their buddies, will either hang or spend the rest of their life in jail.

You're right. I'm not sure. Criminal negligence by our LEAs and agencies over the past few years in these matters.

I wonder how the so called 'rights activists' spin this one. The last time the PTM attacked during the checkpoint incident and several were killed, people complained of 'unprovoked fire' and how the people meant no harm. Fair enough then so what happened here? They seem to be going all out now to kill.
The PTM should be destroyed fast.

their intentions were always bad for Pakistan and Pashtoons, they could be leading Party in KPK if they were honest and sincere, but they shoot in their own feet by putting stupid things on army , same army which help the very Tribals from Taliban and their likes, and now there is too much respect for Army in Tribal belt, those days were gone when Tribal people don't want Army or Police interference in their land, major part of FC is compromised of Tribal people . PTM is just a dead meat waiting for their time to be over, and people will forget them within a year, remember 2 years ago I as a Karachi person never thought that this city can come out of the claws of MQM and its goons, and look now .. no one even remember that ugly fat toad in UK . PTM will face the same fate Inshallah .
