A slab of Carrara marble can cost up to $400 per square meter. The luxury stone comes the Apuan Alps, a mountain range in northern Tuscany that stretches for 58 km and reaches 2,000 meters high. The Carrara quarries have produced more marble than any other place on Earth. The market as a whole is worth over €1 billion ($1.1 billion) and produces 4 million tons of marble every year, with 13,000 people involved.

If they put in on the market on the LME and CME. Marble would sell on the 'stock market', for 75 cents per square meter. Short sellers would crash the price, which is why anything listed on those markets are crashed (look at coffee and silver) to prevent inflation, and promote deflation, as Washington prints toilet paper money. What a scam the LME is.

Things very valuable like food and minerals are crashed so suppliers can make a fortune while farmers commit suicide in India. They also go into debt due to GMO seeds.

Italy is smart, you can't short sell marble to crash the price of marble and use up all available marble. The seller sets the price, not the phony controlled market.
