NEW DELHI: A minor fire broke out onboard Indian Navy's anti-submarine ship Kamorta on Wednesday, but no injuries or casualties were reported, the Indian Navy said.
An official statement said a minor fire was reported onboard the ship in the afternoon while it was operating out at sea.
"The fire was detected in the left engine room. The affected compartment was evacuated immediately and the fire was brought under control by using Fixed Fire System fitted onboard," the statement said.
"There have been no casualties or injuries due to the incident," it said.

Meh... Big deal. Engine room fire brought to controll by fire fighting system. Dose not seem like fuel oil fire, maybe some other lubricants caught some spark.

Lot of incident happens in Indian Navy, I believe safety standards are not being followed.

Its because the navy reports even a simple scratch in its vessel to the public. How many navy's around the world would you think will report such a incident, like a minor fire. If the navy had kept its mouth shut, nobody would have ever known about this.

Agreed.
Only other Navy is US Navy which reports incidents like this.
