Bahi jan, i'll tell you one little thing that the army does to produce a little extra electricity.

There is a second alternator installed in a army jeep so that the radio/comm set can be operated. So you need an extra alternator to power a small comm set without overloading the original alternator. Now if you want to run bulbs, irons, refrigerators and all that, do the math.
