These technologies are created by hundreds of thousands of people, not one. The overwhelming majority of these hard working people are Indians who follow the Hindu faith.

This is rather irrelevant. In India, Kerala especially; religious divide is non-existent. You have your specific places of worship . But as a people, Keralites are quite united.

That a woman (aren't they supposed to be "naqisul aqal"?) and that too belonging to a minority faith could work in a large scientific establishments with thousands of scientists belonging to all other faiths?

That she even had the opportunity to head it despite the inevitable competition from thousands of others highly competent people?

That she didn't have to convert to the majority religion to succeed in her career, like a certain cricketer in our neighborhood had to do?
