Indeed but the effect is not much and can be corrected.So if you see from an ideal point of view that force can be neglected.

@jarves. Remember the sling shot (Hohmann transfer orbit) that was used for MOM to leave Earths gravitational field enroute Mars. The same forces (gravitational) are still in play but for different bodies (Sun here). The effect is substantial and is not neglected. Mariner, Voyager etc have used the same forces at a bigger level than what MOM used!
