India's Kingdom of Dreams to open all over China, including Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou

Kingdom of Dreams will showcase Indian culture, dance, architecture and handicraft, and offer visitors a taste of Indian cuisine.:cheers:

GURGAON: Kingdom of Dreams is all set to be replicated in China, and that too, in ten avatars. The decision to open ten shops in China was taken on Saturday. The project would be a joint venture between the Great Indian Nautanki Company Limited (GINC) and Zhejiang Dafeng Industry Company Limited.

Dafeng is the global leader in stage equipment supplies, and has supplied all the stage equipment installed in the Showshaa Theatre at Kingdom of Dreams in Gurgaon. So far, the company has executed over 5,000 entertainment projects worldwide.

Anumod Sharma, managing director of GINC, said, During my recent China visit, I showed them the Zangoora pictures and video and they were absolutely thrilled with the performances. They were also highly impressed with our architecture.

Sharma added, When I visited them after 20 days, they expressed their desire to see Kingdom of Dreams. They landed here yesterday and after visiting Culture Gully and watching the live Zangoora show, they said they wanted to take Kingdom of Dreams to China.

Dafeng has expressed its desire to replicate Indias biggest recreation hub at 10 different locations in China.

Work on the first Kingdom of Dream at Hangzhou will begin in April next year and will take about two years to get completed.

Following it, nine more shops will come up at different places in China, including Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou, over the next 10 years. The expenses for developing these centres would be shared equally by both GNIC and Dafeng.

Confirming this, Dafeng board chairman Feng Hua said, China has great potential for entertainment. And given its size, one Kingdom of Dreams in the entire country would not have been sufficient. So we have decided to come up with 10 such entertainment centres in the days to come.

When asked what about Kingdom of Dreams fascinated him the most, Hua said, If I say I liked one particular aspect about this place, I would be doing injustice to the other aspect. Be it the infrastructure or the performances, everything about Kingdom of Dreams is spectacular.

He added, This entertainment hub demonstrates the rich cultural heritage of India, which has deep roots in China. People in China are fascinated by the Indian culture.:yahoo:

The Chinese government is also trying to promote Indian culture and make people more acquainted with it. :woot: So we thought this is the best time and the best way to take India to China.

While the entire set-up in the Chinese model of Kingdom of Dreams will remain quintessentially Indian, the shows might be translated in the Chinese language.
Sources said depending upon the demand, the shows might even be produced in a multi-language system. The GINC officials are also planning to rope in some Bollywood actors to play the main leads in Zangoora.

Any idea if it's coming to HK too, or do I need to go to Guangzhou for it?
