Indians can now travel 60 countries visa-free ,India’s passport rank improves to 83 from 90

[INDIAPOSITIVE]

Hyderabad: India’s passport power has improved this quarter compared to 2021. It now ranks at 83rd position in the Henley Passport Index, climbing seven places from 90th rank last year.

With this, Indian passport holders can now visit 60 destinations worldwide including Oman and Armenia (latest additions) without obtaining a visa. India has added 35 more destinations since 2006.

Indians can travel to these countries visa-free:

A statement by Henley and Partners said that in 2006 an individual could, on average, visit 57 countries visa-free.

“Today, that number has risen to 107, but this overall increase marks a growing disparity between countries in the global north and those in the global south, with nationals from countries such as Sweden and the US able to visit more than 180 destinations visa-free, while passport holders from Angola, Cameroon, and Laos can only enter about 50,” the statement said.

The current rankings are for the first quarter of 2022 and India shares the position with Sao Tome and Principe in Central Africa, behind Rwanda and Uganda.

There are 3 types of free visa regulation. One of them is the Visa on arrival application, that is, countries can make such applications without expecting any return, especially in order to increase their tourism attractiveness. Another similar application is E-visa. Visa procedures are done automatically by your agency, without physically applying to a place with any document. Visa-Free application, on the other hand, is a (mostly)mutual travel convenience that is widely used today. However, time constraints are also an important determinant here. Countries usually limit between 15 and 60 days.

I honestly don't think HPI means much. Today, your individual equipment (education, wealth, forensic record, social status) is more important than the flag of your passport.

few islands here and there have difrrence between idnia and paksitan for visa free entry. lolllz i have already busted it last month . but you gguys will come back again and again.

its show visa free and on arrival visa as power of passport . and it seems our FO babus dont care to have diplomatically involve in 5-7 islands and make this ranking better . there are a dozen islands which give visa free entry and passport ranking will be fixed . but no one care . just check who allow indians visa free and then compare it to pakistan its just few islands diffidence .
