Dear Indians, many of you show your gratitude on PDF by trying to demean and ridicule everything produced or made in Pakistan. Your mental status becomes even more prevalent when the subject is a defence related equipment like Pakistani missiles, Tanks, guns or aircraft, The favourite frivolous Indian punchline is that, ''it's just a paint job''. Such self pleasing lines only reveals your obsessive nature, it may also boost your tiny ego but doesn't effect the credibility of the weapons or systems, so in essence the heart burn that you suffer will remain forever. Let me point out what something what you would like to call, a copy, paint job etc., produces the end result. The image below is of a fighter which has now been retired from the PAF. Essentially, it's a Russian designed MiG-19, built by the Chinese as the F-6. It's totting American AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles, The Pakistani pilot sits on a British Martin Baker ejection sear. The aircraft has French gun sight and avionics. The missiles and seats were wired and installed by Pakistani engineers. The aircraft fought in the 1971 India/Pakistan war and scored about a dozen kills including it's successor the MiG-21. One of the logged entry reads.
Flt. Lt. Ramesh Gulabaro Kadam of TACDE, flying an SU-7 was killed when he was shot down by an F-6 piloted by W/C Hashmi on 8-12-1971.
There's no mention of Russia, China, America, Britain or France....the only thing mentioned and matters is the Victor and the Victim. You can amuse yourself with making all the jibes about a paint job but in the end the only that matters is the colour of the flag wrapped around a coffin.
