India’s space port Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota in southern Indian state Andhra Pradesh will soon become a hub for assembling satellites and rockets, according to Press Trust of India (PTI).
The country’s space agency Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is drawing up plans to develop the center for assembling satellites and rockets in near future as part of its expansion plans.
“Our vision is a quantum jump in satellites and launch vehicles to be dealt with in coming years. The space port at Sriharikota would be further developed into an area where space-industries in India would come together, assemble satellites and rockets and move them to the launch pad,” ISRO chairman K Radhakrishnan said.
Radhakrishnan, who was participating in the inaugural function of Oceansat-2 ground station here, said ISRO would work with the state government in putting together the space port development.
ISRO and Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (Incois) here were working together in the area of environment and climate monitoring.
“The Megha-tropiques satellite that we will launch next month will give a lot of input on study of climate while another satellite Saral that will be launched subsequently will provide ocean altimeter data,” the ISRO chief added.

any trolls got problem with the term 'quantum jump'? ;)

the "here" is still considered as backwards.

look at the photo, what are those circles? why the moon probe need to do it before fly to the moon? why Chinese probes doesn't waste fuel in this stupid and laughable way?

from my point of view, this is nothing different from the first two photos.

Wasting Fuel???? That's a normal procedure of conserving fuel using the Earth's gravity to generate enough kinetic energy to propel the probe to the moon at a predetermined speed to ensure it is captured by the moon's gravity at a carefully selected location.
The reason chinese probes don't do that is because it used up more fuel during boosting to enable a direct flight to the moon in 5 days instead or 12.
Read up a little on space programs before commenting. There was no need to act on your trolling instincts and bring China in here.

BS.

1. it requires far more advanced control techniques to ensure the accuracy. india couldn't afford it.
2. it requires far more powerful rocket. india couldn't afford it.
3. it requires much better reliability and robustness design as you won't have those extra week to correct your problem. india couldn't afford it.

please stop trolling, Chang'e completed its task, got too much fuel left, moved to the Lagrangian point and will stay there for the rest of its life.

The most shameful BS is indians always lie.

When US sent their moon probe to the moon, they didn't use parking orbit, Surveyor 1 landed on moon without 12 days of bloody waiting.
When Soviet Union sent their moon probe to the moon, they didn't insult their engineers and scientists by doing this stupid parking orbit.
When Chinese sent the moon probe to the moon, Chinese didn't stupidly do parking orbit to workaround poor guidance, poor control techs crap. 5 days fly to the moon.

suddenly, indians become the smartest, they spent 12 days to get to moon, rather than 4-5 days like what Americans/Soviet Union/China did. yet they call it a better way of doing it

one day liar, always liar.

.
if you can't learn to be honest, your entire life will be just another lie, another typical lie.

yaawn
Chang'e 2 will have a shorter Earth to Moon cruise of 5 days rather than 12 days. The launch rocket has two more boosters to accomplish this more direct route to the Moon.

That 'backwards' you still could not achieve. Sensors on board Indian moon mission found water on the moon, found new geographical locations and above all MIP put Indian flag on the surface of the moon. Try to achieve something similar before talk.

What kind of people create false flags to bash India!!!! US, France, Vietnam and now Hongkong!!! lol Funny!!

The resident troll is back.

Ever noticed how most trolls in most forums ironically have the word "peace" inserted somewhere in their username?Weird eh,they all come from one place probably!!

be honest, learn to be honest:
US/Soviet Union/China all did the same thing -- no parking orbit.

Manned moon landing requires parking orbit, because it gives you extra chance to abort the mission in a place much closer to Earth. However, that is not the case here, we are talking about unmanned moon, US/Soviet Union/China all did the same thing -- no parking orbit.

These IDs are created exclusively to troll on Indian section like peaceful, fast, pakchina, Secur, SR71-Blackbird etc. They just start it and then rests of the thread goes fist fighting and bashing. They are ashamed to put their true identity. lol
