Indian railways seeks Chinese technology for running bullet train

One needs to have money to buy expensive articles. :azn:

Our problem is not money, we have loads of it. Our problem is the men at helm of affairs who get to keep almost all of this money for themselves (read: corruption, tax evasion by the richest etc.).

There is nothing wrong with Chinese trains. India should buy them if they are cheap and worth it.

thats what we had been saying but Indians used to laugh by terming these China made.

seems the tide has changed

How many of rich Pakistanis really pay taxes? And tax should't cross 30% of national income on ideal conditions, what's that percentage for Pakistan?

none. only we pay not the rich ones.

only Mosques pay TV fee in terms of taxes and those consumers in electricity bills who even dont have a TV :P

i dont see any harm in this guys.it is a good initiative.and of course as of now japanese tech is better than chinese tech.but money is a crucial factor here.and look at chinese trains, they run very well.so i dont think there is a need to worry.

Dude, I bought a laptop in UK which was made in China...I returned home after a year and now its a crap!! ...right from keypad, adapter to screen, everything has gone for a toss!!

My first experience of a good quality Chinese product was when I purchased a AUS $99 DVD Player back in 2001, I was gifted a Japanese branded DVD player in 2003 which would play only the best quality DVD's only whereas the Chinese one would play anything and everything flawlessly (even very cheap DVD-R/DVD+R which were not really compatible with non-PC DVD Players back in the day).

Since then, I have experienced various qualities of Chinese products that can range from absolute crap to surprisingly well built and of extremely good quality depending upon the cost of that item.
