AMRITSAR: The Lahore-bound friendship bus from New Delhi was stopped here by a group of Indians protesting against the killing of troops at the Line of Control.

Police were called in to control the protestors and shortly after the Pak-India friendship bus reached Lahore. The protestors were chanting slogans against Pakistan

After arriving in Lahore, passenger Muhammad Siddiq while speaking to Geo News said the bus was stopped by the protestors for 30 minutes. Siddiq praised the security measures in place as he said protestors were chanting anti-Pakistan slogans and using abusive language.

Several demonstrations have been held in India accusing Pakistan Army of killing Indian soldiers at the LoC. On Wednesday, the youth wing of the Congress party stormed the Pakistan High Commission and police resorted to using water cannons to disperse them.

Islamabad has strongly rejected New Delhi’s’ charges of Pakistan Army killing the Indian soldiers and demanded security of its staff in the High Commission.

Well done to the police for not letting this get ugly. There's no sense on taking this out on Pakistani civilians.

I wonder when Pak soldiers are killed and Pak also shows proofs to World that it is result of IA ambush rather than accusing different SPFs and Battalions without any proofs then why here things don't get such ugly………:pop:
I really love this pisitive point……:azn:

Agreed. But there is no sense in continuing with all this peace-talk and friendship stuff with Pakistan. We should learn to accept the reality, and should focus our energy & time on something that is achievable.

thats some friendly and peace loving people !
