indian plan to destroy World Heritage Site in Bangladesh - DU student protest

Dhaka University students protested indian plan to destroy Bangladesh only world heritage site and home of endangered Royal Bengal tiger - symbol of Bangladesh. When indian ambassador went to Dhaka University he was surprised to see protest and anger could not be suppressed by indian backed awami league terror force. But awami league subsequently tried to delete protest video students uploaded in different sites. It is goes without saying indian plan to build thermal power plan using coal in Sundarban where most prominent symbol of Bangladesh Royal Bengal Tiger lives. Destroying most prominent symbol of Bangladesh will enable india to further its goal to destroy Bangladesh INDEPENDENT identity.

What a joke of a post. The Bengal tiger does not belong to Bangladesh alone. India is building a power plant within its sovereign territory, so what exactly is the issue?

The moderators should close this nonsensical thread.

think about the animals and various life forms there... not sovereignty, money, military or power. Just for the sake of those animals... okay if y'all have justification and provide enough information to people about its eco friendliness... all this will definitely end.

Making an environmental case is different. Article mentions nothing about the environment, but about a species of tiger it think it has sole right to. It's a nonsense article.

Don't worry it is only tip of iceberg, very soon they will take over all of BD.

It was not a planned protest. The Indian ambassador went to the Dhaka University for some reason, seeing his car students present in that road started it spontaneously

It's misrepresented. The students have been worried about the environmental impact to home of the tigers. Nothing to do with ownership

If the same plant made by China? then? :p

another idiotic comments by indians....its the location of the plant that is concern, not indian company building it. Although contract with indian company has its own issues. Like india, Chinese are NOT after destroying independent identity and symbol of Bangladesh. They have chosen and built plant in different places.
