A major "catastrophe" was averted by a naval aircrew when their Chetak helicopter ditched at Arabian sea last week, the Navy said Tuesday. It said a board of inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of the technical failure leading to the loss of the helicopter.

The helicopter was part of an Indian naval warship which was deployed in the Arabian sea. "As per reports, the helicopter developed technical failure prior to ditching and the crew displayed immense professional prowess and sound training in deftly landing the helicopter in the water and successfully egressing from it," the Navy said. It said all three crew members were safe.

After airforce navy wants to prove its name

only an indian would call the crew panicking and jumping out of a helicopter that crashed in the sea a "crew displayed immense professional prowess and sound training in deftly landing the helicopter in the water and successfully egressing from it"!

Indian news media : the chopper went down only after shooting down 3 jets 5 helis and sinking 2 warships. And In fact the heroic pilots only ran out of ammo so they crashed the heli on another ship while expertly navigating their parachute back to the capital causing HUGE enemy losses...

Not only their politicians, but their military officials have also now gained a mastery in befooling the people, by creating fantastic narratives.

Like Abhinandan who was not able to intercept or fire any missile on any enemy fighter plane, mistakenly entered into enemy air space, got shot down himself just in 90 seconds, destroyed his plane, beaten by crowd, become prisoner of enemy, later released but shows ""Super Professionalism in every aspect""" ????i think i need an new dictionary now
