Left wing (though not very overly) anti-corruption guy, you can wiki it.

he's since developed a taste for power and wants to go nation wide but has no traction/infra or even much name recognition.. the AAM.

Kejriwal graduated from IIT Kharagpur with a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering in 1989. In 1985, he took the IIT-JEE exam and scored All India Rank (AIR) of 563.

Before joining politics, Kejriwal had worked in the Indian Revenue Service as a Joint Commissioner of Income Tax in New Delhi.

He is doing welfare for poor, which are mostly Muslims and Dalits, so as usual lot of heartburn from upper castes.
