Swami Aseemanand's confession to his role in the Pakistan-bound Samjhauta Express train blast in 2007 has also exposed the hand of the ultra right wing in several other attacks.

Headlines Today and Tehelka accessed Aseemanand's confessionary statement given in the court. In this 42-page statement in Hindi, Aseemanand has unravelled the inner workings of the terror network.

Aseemanand lays bare an explosive story about the involvement of a few ultra right-wing leaders, including himself in planning and executing a series of bombings. He confesses laying down the "bomb for bomb" revenge approach.

According to him, it was not just a group like the Abhinav Bharat that engineered the blasts. RSS national executive member Indresh Kumar allegedly handpicked and financed some RSS pracharaks to carry out terror attacks.

Aseemanand claims that Indresh had deputed Sunil Joshi a former RSS pracharak of Mhow district for this job. Joshi was expelled from the RSS after being accused in the murder of two Congress activists in Madhya Pradesh in 2006. In 2007, he was murdered under mysterious circumstances.

While Aseemanand was known for his vitriolic anti-minority position, in his confession it was the massacre of Hindu devotees at Akshardham temple in 2002 that was the real reason for their retaliatory terror attacks.

In 2003, Aseemanand came in contact with Joshi and Pragya Singh Thakur. Finally, according to him, it was the terror attack on Sankat Mochan temple in Varanasi in March 2006 which was the real flashpoint for them.

If this is true then rss has played right into the the hands of terrorists.Terrorists have always wanted to instigate communal violence in India and the these rss leaders only helped their cause.Now that he is in custody hopefully justice will be served.

a blessing for the late Hemant Karkare, who gave his life to expose such extremists....

Hemant Karkare was one of the finest Police Officers of India. Don't besmirch his good name by dragging him into your base conspiracy theories.

As the chief of teh Anti Terror Squad his job it was his job to go after all extremists hindu or otherwise...something that the fine men who have stepped into his shoes are continuing to do dilligently. And, as the chief of ATS it was also his job to fight from the frontlines when Paksitani terrorists attacked the city under his watch- again a responsibility he took seriously and martyred himself in the line of duty. Don't drag hs name into your CIA RAW MOSSAD fantasies- you don't have officers like him.

And somewhere in your ranting, you can think of the fact that while he and his fine team have gone after Col Purohit & gang like rabid dogs and Indian courts threw them into jail and kept them there whether or not pakistan asked for it, you have on the other hand taken no actions on the perpetrators of mumbai who roam free. Indian systems have grave problems but your system doesn't come anywhere near the integrity and dedication that our police and courts have shown.

You may not have enough good sense to respect them for that but at least don't insult them.

Did they say they have problem with terms such as 'Islamic terror', , 'Islamic extremists', etc? As far as this story is concerned, some time ago, some Indians pointed out that US Treasury blamed LeT for the Samjhouta express bombings. I was surprised considering that Indian government never blamed LeT itself, so how can US treasury blame LeT? Furthermore, I wasn't quite sure what US treasury was doing discussing terrorism.

Anyone has any more info this? Did US treasury blame confuse the Samjhouta express bombings with some other terrorist attack? etc

Jepp attack us but dont talk about this news. how can u ask Pakistan to capature ppl behind mumbai attacks which looks like also done by Indians. Why i think so ?

1. Ajmal Kasab was only attacker ? Were are all others let us know about them.
2. Witness on mumbai port said they heard terrorist speaking marati.
3. How can a Pakistani visiting mumbai first time took all local routs ? How did he knew all roads, places ? Come to Islamabad and find a place for me like mumbai attackers did. THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE....
4. Why we do not hear about all Indian links ? ppl who were caught and ppl who work in hotel who disapeard after attacks. Who were they ? Pakistanies ?
