“Authorities in Australia see me as a terrorist, which actually I am not," Puneet told The Herald Sun, outside Delhi’s Patiala House court on Saturday at his latest hearing.

According to the publication, Australia has recently made diplomatic approaches to India over the extended timeframe in the extradition proceedings.

“If instead of me it would have been an Australian guy in my place, I am sure the case would have been different," he added.

“I have apologised to the family and am ready to apologise to them again if it really matters to them.”

This Indian does not want to face punishment for killing a young kid and destroying his family, he ran away to India when he has been calming Australia is a racist country. Typical Indians they think they can get away with doing things in Australia, because if he did this in India he would have got away with me.

They guy is a dog and should be extradited to Australia to pay for his crime.

Yeah I know his friend should be put in jail as well, and deported after he serves his sentence. But what is disgusting, he went to India got married, and has no guilt about what he has done by killing an innocent kid, and he is calling Australia racist because all the family of this kid he killed just want justice.

No we aren't, we just want justice, the laws are the same for every Australian citizen, like I said Australia is not India where crimes like this are allowed if you pay off the cops. This case will be in front of a judge with a jury of 12 people, an open court.

Since we follow a procedure, he is taken to a local court where even Australian govt can send its lawyers. I hope you have heard about concepts of natural justice and audi aurtem partem.

Has the court granted stay because it has accepted Australian Racism?
As far as Indian government and Indians are concerned we don't blame any nation for discrimination or racism if its constitution has a provision against it. What happens at individual levels is beyond the government's control and if there is a case of racism then your constitution provides for a remedy against it. Thats why we all believe that this guy is falling short of arguments and resorting to accusation of racism just like muslims use their religion card against India whereas Indian constitution does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed or religion.

If you think this case is going on forever in Indian courts then blame your own lawyers for not pursuing it properly.
