Nepalis began calling out the Indian government for using an image of mountain range which is actually in Nepal PHOTO: Rajesh Shrestha/Facebook

The Indian government was left red faced after it turned out that a poster used in an ‘Incredible India’ campaign had an image of the Annapurna mountain range in Pokhara, Nepal.

The news of the image being incorrectly used by the Indian government first became known when a Nepali man, Rajesh Shrestha, posted on his Facebook account on Monday with the caption, “This is a sign in front of Indian embassy in Warsaw. Guess, we Nepalese really have to teach Indian government some geography. Since when Annapurna range is located in India??”

Soon, Nepalis began calling out the Indian government for using the image which is actually a stock photo on the website Shutterstock, filed under ‘Young woman is practicing yoga against Himalaya mountains.’

The poster appears to have been around since last year and the photo in the tweet below shows the Indian ambassador to Poland posing with Amitabh Kant, the man behind the country’s ‘Incredible India’ campaign.

Indian ambassador to Poland, Ajay Bisaria, soon took to Twitter to apologise for the mistake, clarifying the image was provided by an outsourced company. The poster has now been removed.

. . . . . . . .
Look at justification of these Indians now... "nepal is ours anyway".. so claim the same for JF-17 and PAF Chief as well. :enjoy:

.
This kind of ridiculous things have already happened for many times,isn't it?

(e.g Mumbai advertising video 2015,use pics from osaka,Japan)

The possible reasons are:
  1. Indian officials are slothful;
  2. The scenery of India is not as good as that of Nepal;
  3. Strong Vanity,India wants to show its progressiveness,cleaness and goodliness(Actually,India doesn't have these.Could even say that India is far from being a great country)...Under the impulse of immense vanity,Indian utilize photos from other countries...
To tell the truth,it's too early to conduct propaganda on account of the reality that India is a low-income developing country yet.

Considering that most of its population is not out of poverty,India government behoove attaches more importance to development projects,not propaganda.

Even though tourists gravitate toward India by means of false propaganda,the gap between propaganda and reality let tourists have a bad impression on India.

This is downright deceptive behavior which will bring shame on India.

That's in their DNA, Nepal's scenery, Pakistan's JF-17, Pakistan's music ...They are incapable of thinking creatively...filthy copycats.

Exactly true..Indians cannot innovate...they can only copy paste!

This behavior is replicated by all Indians in all walks of life..I called it the India Supah Powah syndrome..it has taken the whole nation past the passive aggressive psychological disorder.

Not the Chinese bragging again! You are one level above them in terms of not yet a developed country, poverty and filth. Considering you are 4 x their GDP it is shameful what a squalor most of your country is. Your propaganda machine is second to only N Korea and your steal, copy and paste trait is world renowned. Are you really in a position of insulting other countries and bragging here? Speaking of tourism, you are a country where your CCP masters had to print a guidebook to teach you how to behave like a tourist - given you infamous reputation as a people... and you are lecturing others? :lol:

What is this ranking image you pasted based on? And your quantum satellite was from an european scientist you funded- not a chinese who came up with it! :lol:
