No that's not true. I never classically "ditched" any girl, nor ever got ditched in return.

You move on.

And sometime you get back after quite some time.

I'm not talking marriage type sentimental. Just "she's my girl and shall not sleep with another guy down the floor" type sentimental.

P.S. @levina, about the guys not being serious in a relationship, you are 100% correct.

Except one girl from my batch from college (who God bless her, was/probably still is plain neurotic and psycho), I have remained friends with nearly all my girlfriends.

In fact, my wife knows some of them, and one of them (irritatingly) is better friends with my wife than me.

Girls are humans like us. Making love is a very personal thing. Never make a girl feel dirty about it afterwards.
