If it was your car that stopped in the middle of the road and you had to push it all the way to the nearest garage then I can understand your grudge. Otherwise there is no way that you prove that Tata makes any inferior quality automobiles. Moreover, we ain't living in 1950s anymore when cars were supposed to last for a complete generation. Today, you buy something and it becomes obsolete in next three years. Also with automobiles component becoming cheap you cannot hope for a HQ product except if you buy from Rolls Royce.
You are saying things from an Indian perspective. Indiaca sells in India bcoz of the avg product quality and cheap running costs ( as per Indian stds). Its fit and finish lags behind its competitors even in Indian market.
You need to read about the review of cityrover when launched in the UK and how the dealers/companies were told to keep the car away from the eyes of Auto Critics / TV shows etc.
And your idea abt RR being the only quality thing available is totally misplaced. Lexus is an icon when it comes to luxury, cost effectivness and HQ and so are mnay brands around the world.
