For a country with ratified No-First Use policy, having both a strong Second-Strike capability as well as a BMD shield are imperative. The article writer is a typical Indophobic idiot.

That said, India isn't really looking to import complete ABMs from Israel or anyone else for
that matter...most of the equipment needed for BMD shield is developed in-house. Some
components like radar prototypes are imported...but Arrow system has nothing to do with it.

We will get hold of Arrow missiles sooner or later probably under table deals. And don't forget bramos hacked version with extended range and ability to carry nukes might exist. It's just a matter of changing the warhead .Who cares about nuclear proliferation when there is a threat to our civilisation existence . ?

as long as their is huge economic advantage for india, india will prusue any weapon offensive or defensive it likes .
and other advantage is that for parity's sake in arms race Pakistan will try to outspend itself, creating further destabilization of Pakistani economy.

Pakistan is worried because if India has a very very Strong BMD, then Pakistan cannot play its terrorist game with India.

Pakistan got away with Mumbai attack with a attack by India, due to the Nuclear blackmail by Pakistan.

In future, if India has the BMD, then Pakistan cannot do attack like Mumbai or other such attack. Because with BMD, India will not fear the Pak nukes, and hence launch a full scale conventional strike against Pakistan.

Obviously India don't need/won't Nuke Pakistan (Unless Pakistan has launched a dirty Nuke or a smuggled Nuke or Biological attack in India).

As far as I can tell, Pakistan is not worried about Indian Nukes falling in its cities, it is rather worried about the continuation of its terror policies (without Indian retaliation due to Nuclear blackmail) in wake of strong Indian BMD.

That's fine but how will we developing a shield make you more vulnerable? You become vulnerable if there is something offensive against you developed. What we are developing is to defend ourselves from an incoming attack. BMDs don't launch to attack but to intercept and destroy incoming missiles.

Incorrect.

Indian BMD program and continued modernization and enhancement of its military is the only thing bringing stability to South Asia.

It enhances control and puts limits on terrorism exporting States with weak civic control like Pakistan who act as bases for foreign countries.
