Indian Army suicides reaches record low

New Delhi: The number of suicides by armed forces personnel this year has been the lowest recorded.

According to the numbers released by the Defence Ministry, 92 defense forces personnel committed suicide in the year 2017 against 129 in 2016, 95 in 2015 and 119 in 2014.

According to the numbers released in the Parliament, two Army officers, 67 JCOs and Other Ranks, one Navy officer, four sailors and 18 airmen committed suicide in the year 2017

Than how come they attribute 4750 or soldiers killed on LOC in past 10 or so years to suicide???
