“We got information about the operation of the racket, which included Army personnel, from those job aspirants who had paid money for getting a job in the Army. They collected money from lot of people. We have just launched an investigation. The accomplice is an ex-Army official,” Shiny said.

The officer said some other persons were also involved in the operation of the racket and a massive manhunt has been launched to nab them.

“According to the preliminary investigation, we suspect the involvement of other persons in the racket. More persons will be arrested in the coming days,” she said.
