An Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter Mi-17, carrying BSF IG B R Meghwal from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur, had to make an emergency landing due to a technical snag at Phalodi Air Force airport on Friday evening. There is no information on any kind of damage or loss. According to official sources, Meghwal had left for Jodhpur by Air Force helicopter Mi-17 after attending a programme at Tanot. The helicopter left for Jodhpur at 5.20pm. After a technical snag, the helicopter had to make an emergency landing.

Just google it and you will find many crashes even Pakistan MI-17 often crash.

Mi-17 is one of the most popular helo of the world, many countries owned them. Accidents happened, that is normal, but you don't see other countries blame it on Mi-17. India, who btw has one of the worst record of military plane crashes, want to blame it on Mi-17? well, at least you have to investigate it first, and provide proof.
