We are ready for a full spectrum operation, he said.

Dhanoa said IAF's capabilities against China are also adequate.
In a major warning to Pakistan, Indian Air Force Chief BS Dhanoa today said his forces are capable of hitting nuclear sites across the border if another decision on a surgical strike is taken by the government.

When asked about the tactical nuclear arsenal of Pakistan, Dhanoa said, "The Air Force has the capability to locate, fix and strike across the border." He was addressing a press meet in New Delhi on the eve of the Air Force Day.

"We are ready for a full spectrum operation," he said. Dhanoa, however, added that any decision on another surgical strike which also involves the Indian Air Force has to be taken by the government.

Speaking in that context, Dhanoa said he needs "42 squadrons" to carry out a full spectrum operation in case of "a two-front war". He said the IAF will achieve the sanctioned strength of 42 fighter squadrons by 2032.

READY TO TAKE ON CHINA

Dhanoa said the IAF's capabilities against China are also "adequate". On the Doklam border crisis, he said Chinese forces are still deployed in Chumbi Valley. "I expect that they withdraw as summer exercise gets over," he said.

Indian Army chief General Bipin Rawat had said last month that the country should be prepared for a two-front war, insisting China has started "flexing its muscles", while there seems to be no scope for reconciliation with Pakistan whose military and polity saw an adversary in India.

. . . .
Well back in 2009 there were over 5000 targets in Pakistan on IAF targeting list, that number has increased by now.

Another day another brain f@rt by an Indian.

See What Musharaff did when they (Indian) even think about the strikes.

. . . .
By 2032. ohhhh well but Subramanian Swamy claimed it will happen by March 2018. So whom should be taken seriously?
Both are jokers in fact morons of high order.
On other thread I posted that Hindus not Indian got real independence only during Modi's era so frustration from centuries need some time to vent off so expect such headless chicken moves from Sanghi kids and leaders, the day Pakistan took it seriously and answer them by spanking their @sses they will woke up to reality.

Wrong title.

He says, AF is ready to bomb nuke sites if ordered by govt.

Even PAF will do same. Dont they, if approved by govt ?
PAF will indeed retaliate. This is one of the reasons why the India government rejected an Israeli proposal, to allow Israeli jets to use Indian soil, in order to destroy Pakistani nuclear stations.

The India air force isn't stupid, no matter the statement, this was done for domestic propaganda purposes. They know, no matter how good the India air force is, they won't be able to stop a Pakistan counter attack.

Besides, considering how damaging it would be, this would lead to open war, and one India would never be able to justify. Pakistan would stand on a moral high ground, and every accusation of Indian hostility would be proven right. India would lose credibility, if it even survives a war that could potentially go nuclear.
