Ghulam Hasan Shah was an old man he went to a village near Chakothi close to line of control to meet his daughter and came under Indian fire... Journalists reports.

You do realize that for standoff/glide weapons, it is quite easy to reach such range. The reality of the Indian ingress was that they did not have any specific time over target. Meaning their pilots were not flying over the intended target. They targeted the site from stand-off ranges and such strikes allow own aircraft to only ingress the other's airspace a few miles/kilometers. That is also what both the DGISPR and the Indian CAS mentioned.

In such types of attack, its like a game of hide and seek because with AEW platforms, your own aircraft can be directed to certain corridors where the other side may not have aerial presence.

Forget Pakistan/India, even the USAF cannot guard against such shallow intrusions that rely on standoff attack weapons.

What is a certainty is that even if in the future IAF gets a strike in, it will face a Pakistani response that it also cannot avoid.

In addition, people completely forget that on the night of 26th Feb. Indians made three attempts - Bahawalpur, Muridkay and LOC.

Two were effectively repulsed, LOC breach happened and their time inside the Pak territory was 3-min & 55-seconds.
