IOK is not lost. Pakistan is not lead by idiots. Bajwa is no Ayub Khan who thinks he can win some quick war that will be limited to IOK. Our economy is in tatters, we are at the mercy of FATF. It's better to bleed India through mujahideen rather than a frontal attack, which will be more expensive, however if India decides to attack, which it will once it starts to feel the heat of jihad, we can blunt their attack through offensive defence posture. Before u.s invasion in afghanistan afghan mujahideen took part in kashmir jihad against indians but we were unable to free kashmir,now if we wait for along time india will kill half of population in kashmir and displace remaining resulting in end of resistance in kashmir like it happened in Syria where Bashar killed millions of people and displaced millions to control syria .India will do the same and kashmir is much smaller than Syria so it will be much easy to end Kashmiris struggle .
