India to pay Russia for arms, ammo it sells to Afghanistan

plus,we're also worried about "Strong ANA,weak State" condition.just like Pakistan,Egypt and Mali, there could be a coup by ANA to overthrow Afghan Corrupt Politicians in post 2014.

That is very unlikely, the system has been build up in a way which the power of the army is very limited.'

The State and the army are not enemies in Afghanistan

I wish it happens bro.I'm stating the possibility.a new nation with civil war going, corrupt politicians with less control over a powerful army generally faces this kind of challenge.its kind of deadlock situation here.Afghanistan needs a powerful ANA to face threats against it.it also needs a powerful, transparent, self sufficient and strong govt, which it lacks.hope new govt will be more powerful and less corrupt than the present one.

a Pakistani talking about Attrition rate is joke.More people dies in Pakistan everyday in "Terror Related Incidents" in Pakistan than Afghanistan.
Do you even know what attrition is, it has nothing to do with terrorist incidents on our side of the border, it has to do with the desertion of the ANA by Afghan recruits, now tell me how they are related, consult a dictionary before quoting me next time.....

let me remind you, even in the past,Communist backed Af Govt didn't fall due to "Mujahid" factor.its simply because Russia stopped funding
And why did the Soviets stop funding, the answer has all to do with the Mujahid factor and the fact that the war had become economically and socially in-viable

what do you mean ''we're'' you are not a regional actor and dont have any common border, culture or history with the country, dont try and declare you relevance where it is not required or present for that matter, all you can do is provide a few million dollars (thats peanuts by international standards) and a some rounds of ammunition and thats it....

Attrition could be used for multiple cases, relating environment, hostile recruits to fierce enemy.stop bragging about your "tiny brain" and start studying.also, their is no difference between their "Hostile Recruits" and "Insider Attacks" with yours "Bomb Attacks" and "Suicide Attacks".in both cases, soldiers die.

are you totally void of any knowledge regarding this??in 1990,SU collapsed.AF relied on SU for massive Financial Aid.as Aid stopped coming,AF govt collapsed as well.stop giving so much credit to "Mujahids".if they were so potent factor, they could launch offensive and march into Kabul after SU left.but they couldn't.and its not assumption, its bare facts and much discussed.

actually,India does have border with Afghanistan officially.plus, its not million dollars you idi0t,its billions..Millions with a "B" officially.plus, its way better what India is doing their for Afghanistan's better prospect than whatever sinister plans your country is charting.so,stop this BS.and here,"WE" means international community, not India.India is among group of countries which providing assistance to Afghanistan.India is voted most preferred country by common Afghans over USA and China.

Yes and according to those credible sources pakistan just have 10-15% people who don,t have toilets and they are from villages but more than 60% of indians don,t have toilets even in bigger cities like delhi people defecate openly in a democratic way .

Or may be it,s not a right time

Did you think lack of toilets is due to lack of money?Poor man it is a small degradation of our culture.
Now stay on topic.

And why exactly did the Union collapse, I am guessing that its collapse was random or anything, it collapsed as a result of a drawn out war, that caused undue economic resources being allotted to the Afghan war and ultimately the economy was in such bad shape that there was no alternative but to pack up and go home, and unlike you I dont fart out unsourced pieces of information to act like a history buff, read up on ''the great gamble'' but I doubt a dyslexic yahoo like you is going to stick around long enough to read an entire book....

You are not doing any favors to the Afghans, you are merely investing and are waiting for a profitable turn out, thats simple economics, but again a gray matter devoid lunatic will not understand that and think that India is some humanitarian and selfless country helping out the Afghans for the sake a good will.....:sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic:

Pakistanis and their "Afghan war glory"...SU lost 20 million people and faced unlimited amount of destruction in WW II,yet they survived.and they lost merely few hundreds tanks/aircrafts and around 15000 soldiers and they collapsed.what a logic.:rofl::rofl:

we donated 2 billions dollars to Afghanistan.first,do that.then we'll talk.but then again,Pakistan is on the receiver's end of donation than Donors.

by the way,India invested over 10.2 billion dollars(upto 2012,by now its well near 13-14 billion) in Afghanistan while 2 Billion dollars is donated.it just shows our level of confidence on their stability.while Pakistanis will dream about "Taliban control over Afghanistan",I fear, they'll lose their own country in the hand of TTP and other rebels.we'll,frankly speaking, you guys should implement a Taliban govt first before cheering one in Afghanistan.

Oh please again don,t waste your money in afghanistan .Use this money for feeding your starving masses, pulling them out of poverty and building toilets all over india .There is no way you can win in afghanistan . Mark my words.
Thanks for your advice. We will keep all you've said in mind.

In the meanwhile, it would be a good idea to feed your starving millions too, instead of wasting scarce money on nukes that will never ever be used.

We've given Afghanistan $2 billion. What have you guys given? Nix!

Oh wait...You've given them the Taliban!! :P

We are thinking about it and progressing on it. What on the other hand you are doing ? begging on the same bowl since independence. Try to come out of your failed state tag.

Practice what you preach first!

> And Pakistan announced in May this year that it gave $20m to help the country 'build itself and fight against the militants', this money was used to support Afghan security forces.

That's very nice of India. Iran should also help arming Afghan army. If we help them kill even one more Talib, it's money well spent.
And also keep Pakistan in check !

India is biggest receiver of international aid and beg all the times for her projects. :D
