what has yarn and protecting your farmers got to do with bangladesh exporting rmg? do you have comprehension problems?
is there anything tough to understand abt what i just said ???what are u ??a kid??importing garments from ur country with 16% duty makes them costlier which means lesser market for cotton .india is a bigger market..when there is abaundant raw material here no one would prefer abroad so demand for local cotton increases and livelyhood of farmer increases
but we don't export any rmg India. your theory is far fetched. cotton is sold at international market rate otherwise your farmers go on mass suicide.
now you are just talking for the sake of talkingeven a blanket comes under the definition of rmg
according to international Standard Industrial Classification of all economic activities adopted by the United Nations
including the ILO definition of rmg industry is as follows"‘those establishments which do not make fabrics or knitted fabrics but only cut and make garments out of them, could be covered under the garment industry"

Why not Hassina slap 20% on Indian imports?
Why not Hassina slap 20% on Indian imports?
So much for free trade
Besides, there isn't much point in marketing our products over there due to the ethnocentric nature of Indian consumers. Another thing is that it is difficult to do business over there for both Bangladesh and Pakistan.
Let alone setting up production or service facilities in India.
Meanwhile, India has over 150 corporations in Bangladesh operating safely and profitably!
