war, plus India'sfirst nuke test in 1974. Hence you ran and hid behind American trousers and starting using proxies as a weapon now that your military might is a twirp compared to ours.
In the late 60s and then in the 80s, china tried to take Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh, thinking that it would be just as easy as taking Aksai Chin (inspite of massive casualities inflicted
on PLA in '62 war) . In both instances they got their a$$ kicked and
withdrew from the Chola Incident in just
24 hours, and then gradually.
This prompted them to strike a friendship with pakistan so that both these fellows can sit in some corner with their small thinkin' caps on and hatch plans.
By the mid-2000s, Uncle Sam felt disgusted with pakistan and formulated a massive side-switching a few years down the lane, and it occured! Today India & US are mates in many a field,
let it be defence, security, human development, economy, infrastructure and a lot more. In these years India managed to strike up a much closer friendship with Israeli brothers and the Europeans.
Although India & Israel became friends quite quickly due to common problems, it took us some quality time to rub the Europeans into submission.
By the late-2000s and early 10s, the West is buddies with India like never before, in addition to continuing our long-shot friendship with Russia in many of their top-of-the-line defence projects
including steath fighters, aircraft carriers, transports, missile systems and even choppers and infantry equipment.
As a matter of worry for pakistan, you had support of the West for 60 years and all that you could salvage out of it was some 60-odd F-16s. India was friends with West for 10 years and got our hands on $15 billions worth defence stuff with much more to come. Pakistan should learn how to make the most out of whatever resource is available. Instead of sitting in their lap and thumb$ucking, you should have given them big business, make them run around you for more contracts and get all the nice techhome. You even had the opportunity to get miitary aid from West worth billions, India didn't have this comfort from anyone.
After testing of the Agni-5, it was china's turn to feel insecure, especially with that pathetic capability of their so-called interceptor missiles. I have observed from then on, china is spewing BS out of insecurity - they have a ICBM-wielding hostile neighbour right next door, the West is totally hostile to them, Russia gives away sensitive tech to India without any regulations, while it thinks twice before doing the same with china, now china has got pathetic allies around, most of which tend to climb on its shoulders and ask it to do what
they want, instead of trying to understand what china's view and ambition and how to be a good friend,,,and to crown it all, the chinese companies' inability to design and build stuff without having to copy or having something to look at! And the chinese think they can overthrow the United States with this level of innovation?? Whatever china has is already present in some corner of the world if not the other, but US has tech that even Martians might have heard of.
Whatever china builds or achieves, is a surprise for US' cognition of china, and not a surprise for the US industry which had already built that product some 20-30 years ago! So china should stop overestimating themselves.
And pakistan, I think you should do something about your military and national policymaking, stop hiding behind US shield, then China shield and sitting in i=your home. Do you think PLAN in Gwadar will save you? They'll have a hard time saving themselves! Wait until next 1-2 months, when we will commission our first Project-15A stealth guided missile destroyer for sea trials, better than any chinese warship built to date. Let me see china's reaction to that king of the high seas.
I have reason to believe the Project-15A Kolkata-class will be Asia's No.1 stealth destroyer, much better than
the Chinese Type-052C Luyang-II class.
