India’s opposition leads to rejection of EU tariff deal

There is a verse in the Quran that advises the believers not to take non-Muslims as friends, and goes on to say that they are in-fact allies of one-another (even if they appear not to be allied - their interests are the same when it comes to harming Muslims).(5:51)

For all the ranting and protests in Europe against US/NATO wars on one Muslim country after another, almost all the armies of Western Europe(NATO members) still participate in these wars and kill together.

That's the problem You people link each and everything with religion.....Even if someone is thinking about the Interest of its own people first..

'Inherently' then, you should oppose any 'Free Trade Deal' or 'Preferrential Trade Agreement' that India signs with any other nation, given your argument above.

International, yes. Bilateral, No.

If India and Bangladesh have a good relationship and we would like to extend a free trade with Bangladesh, then the deal is between India and Bangladesh.
EU is a region and India is a player. The trade agreements can be opposed or supported by India as per its interest. Hope you see the difference.

I wonder if this verse also applies to the atheistic China?

any good can be expected from only an ethical enemy not an unethical enemy like bharat aka india .

those who are coming up with farce arguments forcing us to consider india a friend are always proved wrong

India too faced natural calamities in 2010 : Floods ( Bihar ) , Cyclones ( WB ) , Earthquake ( Leh ) .... but do we say "Give us concessions at expense of all my competitors" ?

NO

So get over it , it's pure business , nothing else.
