If a simple jammer pod can compromise the capabilities of one of the most advanced air defense systems, I see no reason why countries waste billions in developing Air defense systems. From your logic, looks like India can also build a jammer pod on any of our fighters to compromise China's S-400. Your post should enlighten Russians, Indians and Chinese on why they are wasting billions in acquiring the S-400 which can easily be compromised with you Pakistani logic based radar

China will do this for us... China will do that for us... keep thinking... First it was USA now China...

The Chinese have developed (PAF had some input) the JF-17 per Pakistani Requirement; Avionics, Radar, and weapons systems are being developed and shared with Pakistan

Jamming Pods should be no different (The New Chinese Type 055 Destroyer has GaN AESA Radars; a derivative can be made into jamming pods)
Furthermore, It is in China's interest to help Pakistan as it occupies Indian attention. Considering the current rhetoric being traded between Beijing and New Delhi; a new era of shadow boxing between the Asian giants may well benefit the PAF inventory.

The PLAAF and PLANAF could field the same equipement on their L-15; and call it the EA-15 (after the way the USN has the EA-18 Growler), the plane is a platform. an export variant derived from pods build for the PLAAF and PLANAF would find a ready customer in the PAF; knowing the Chinese know a good deal about the S-400

The EA-18 operates with the F-35 on DAY ONE; i.e. better dedicated jammers than a fifth generation fighter with the latest AESA and stealth; they need the electronic attack capability

one of the systems the ea-18 is designed to counter is the s-400

God Forbid (for all people's sake); war occurs between the Pakistan and India; the PAF needs a way to effectively jam indian c4isr; and repulse any attack; a few dedicated electronic platforms in every squadran is a must; why not make every two seater an electronic warfare platform while we have them; trainer in peacetime and EA-17 in wartime

No bro its not that cost effective solution, maybe S-400 threat will be neutralize by swarm of UAV and UCAV armed with anti radition missiles or maybe we shall purchase of a clone of HARPY anti radar suicide UAV from China with a range of 500 Km

I'm not saying its the be all and end all solution
but it will probably have to be a part, as the numerically and technologically superior elements of the IAF attacking forces will have to be dealt with by the PAF when IAF has S-400 ground support

we may not be able to get all of the s-400 batteries with UAVs, anti-radiation missiles, even chinese sensor fuzed weapons like systems on cruise missiles; which is why we need some jamming capability to protect the force

Bro, China has access to the same S-400, we will develop countermeasures for it and I am very sure we will make sure Pakistan gets a slice of this technology. Pakistan's survival is the most important objective, we will make sure by hook or by crook, Pakistan remains a threat to India.

But your jamming version of JF-17 can easily detected by S-400 and other Indian long range radars before its enter Indian territory for Jamming, UAV and UCAV are much smaller RCS then a fighter jets hence more chances to get closer to the S-400 radars and other long range radar installations of enemy for destroying it
