ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Friday made fresh allegations about India's involvement in terrorist activities in the country, with interior minister Rehman Malik telling parliament that Indian intelligence agencies were running training camps in Afghanistan to foment unrest in Balochistan.

Malik told the senate or upper house of parliament that alleged terrorist training camps in Afghanistan were training Baloch youths to create disturbances in the southwestern province. He claimed these camps were being run by Indian intelligence agencies.

The interior minister, a close aide of President Asif Ali Zardari, said he provided proof regarding training camps where Baloch insurgents are trained to Afghan President Hamid Karzai during a recent meeting in Kabul.

Malik said Karzai had assured him that these terrorist training camps in Afghanistan would be closed.

He also said that Islamabad had informed New Delhi about the training camps after getting "strong evidence" from Pakistani intelligence agencies. He said Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani too had raised the issue of India's alleged involvement in Balochistan with his counterpart Manmohan Singh during a recent meeting in Egypt.

The demand for separation by Baloch insurgents cannot be accepted, Malik said.

Pakistan has for long accused India of being involved in creating unrest in the southwestern province of Balochistan, which shares a long and porous border with Afghanistan.

A joint statement issued after the July 16 meeting between Gilani and Singh said Pakistan had conveyed to India "some information on threats in Balochistan and other areas".

Reports in a section of the Pakistani media said Gilani had provided a dossier to Singh on India's alleged interference in Balochistan but this has been denied by Indian officials.

Baloch nationalist groups often carry out attacks on security forces and government installations in the province as part of their campaign to have a greater say in decision-making and exploitation of the region's natural resources.

This is probably the 173rd time that Rehman Malik has accused India of running terror camps against Pakistan. But where the heck is the evidence? India says nothing has been received. He said it has been shared with US too. What is the reaction from there? Why is evidence not being shared with UN?

You know we Pakistanis too wonder why isnt the eivdence shared with the UN or highlighted the way India does it everytime no matter Pakistan involved or not? but then again we believe there is a very good reason for GOP not to do so and that reason is the US which tells the GOP to stay quiet(aid factor), we are discussing the issue with the Indians and we will convince them to back off. You cant deny the fact that alot happens through back doors in Indian Pakistan scenario because of the complexities involved and because of the countries like US present in the region.
But that does not mean that India isnt involved or Pakistan does not have the proofs after all the Pakistani agencies are not sitting idle.

if you wanna remain low profile then why this renting in parliament?
kyun fokat main chatti kut rahe ho yaar?

Is that your proof of 'India running terror camps for Baloch youths'? Has India acknowledged in that joint statement that it is running terror camps?

What if Pakistan gave India proof then what will India do will it will stop its terror activities.
India is baluchistan for a long time and Pakistan point this matter now. When the time is right India will get proof.

By talking about baluchistan insurgency in Egypt with India is enough for Indian that raw is operating in baluchistan through Afghanistan.

This is the result of your all or nothing high stakes game. Why does it always have to be a zero sum game with you guys. Why not settle.
See Indians lost a fight against Chinese and still they do 50 Billion USD trade with us every year. If you keep crying wolf, then some day the wolf will actually come, then what.

Try Make raw to open terror camps in side china and then see how china trade booms with India.

Pakistan has suffered unrecoverable loss due to TTP and Bugtis and any involvment of indians would bear serious consequencies for the region.
They have links to the murder of BB, Army soldiers, destruction of girls schools, attacks on school buses, slaughtering of humans etc.
It all depends how long pro indian govt. of Pakistan last.
If Bugti is under the protection of Afghan govt. than this should be end of discussion and Pakistan should demand him from Karzai or he should face the music of surgical strikes.
As far indians are concerned, In principal Pakistan should halt all transit trade and flights from its air space, immediately.

i donot understand your logic.....i believe the answer you gave may be what th 90% people think irrespective of the either of the countries...but i am amazed with your solution.....please can u illustrate what benefits can be achieved for either side if trade transit and flights are haulted.......common u never thought about the people who live on either side...isn't.....

i always believe whatever may be the circumstances people to people and general trade, flights, or gatesways to cultural exchanges..may it be cricket or exhibitions, movies, shall never stop...politics should always be kept side...until and unless both pakistan and india fire nuclear missiles on each other and and an armageddon is reached.....finally if everybody makes their mind to fight there will be "End of thus World"....whether is US-Russia...or ....Israel-Iran,........ South Korea-North Korea.......Ireland-UK......China-Japan...so my dear friends...apart from pakistan-India...we see there are other conflicts zone...but if we all do this...than certainly that day would be the day when Human Kind lives on this planet for the last day....so never say that stop trade, stop flights....or stop exchanges...just keep tham apart.....this is not our work...

The evidence has been given to India. This is why indeed Baluchistan issue was included in the joint-statement, which says much about the acceptance of India in terror activities in Pakistan. The good thing is that Singh has the job to do.:pop:

Text of India-Pakistan joint statement

IANS 16 July 2009, 05:05pm IST

SHARM-EL-SHEIKH: The following is the joint statement issued after talks between the prime ministers of India and Pakistan here on

Thursday:

The Prime Minister of India, Manmohan Singh, and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, met in Sharm-el-Sheikh on July 16, 2009.

The two Prime Ministers had a cordial and constructive meeting. They considered the entire gamut of bilateral relations with a view to charting the way forward in India-Pakistan relations. Both leaders agreed that terrorism is the main threat to both countries. Both leaders affirmed their resolve to fight terrorism and to cooperate with each other to this end.

Prime Minister Singh reiterated the need to bring the perpetrators of the Mumbai attack to justice. Prime Minister Gilani assured that Pakistan will do everything in its power in this regard. He said that Pakistan had provided an updated status dossier on the investigations of the Mumbai attacks and had sought additional information/evidence. Prime Minister Singh said that the dossier is being reviewed.

Both leaders agreed that the two countries will share real time, credible and actionable information on any future terrorist threats.

Prime Minister Gilani mentioned that Pakistan has some information on threats in Baluchistan and other areas.

Both Prime Ministers recognised that dialogue is the only way forward. Action on terrorism should not be linked to the composite dialogue process and these should not be bracketed. Prime Minister Singh said that India was ready to discuss all issues with Pakistan, including all outstanding issues.

Prime Minister Singh reiterated India's interest in a stable, democratic, Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Both leaders agreed that the real challenge is development and the elimination of poverty.

Both leaders are resolved to eliminate those factors which prevent our countries from realizing their full potential. Both agreed to work to create an atmosphere of mutual trust and confidence.

Both leaders reaffirmed their intention to promote regional cooperation.

Both foreign secretaries should meet as often as necessary and report to the two foreign ministers who will be meeting on the sidelines of the forthcoming UN General Assembly.

There is no mention of handover of any evidence or dossier on India's role.
It only says Gilani mentioned to Singh that Pakistan has problems in Balochistan & other areas.
Interestingly there is no mention of Kashmir.....

The good thing is that Singh has the job to do.:pop:

What job?
If its running India as its Prime Minister, I think most Indian's feel he is doing a good job of it.
