India misses out on world uni rankings

. .
IIT's and IIM's cannot be considered as universities in the first place as they have very narrow mandate, IIT are Engineering institutions and IIM's are Management institutions. Hence the low ranking.

still DU,JNU and other reputed Indian universities should be there in top 200.

They might taken account of students quality rather than quality of a communist in those universities ;) . Its the sad part that IIT's and IIM's are leaching up the best talent in our country, it wasn't socialist India anymore where parents used to encourage their children to take up liberal arts. I think that situation will change slowly.

this is simply an embarrassing thread to start.

where is pakistan in this list?

india do have world recognised institutions and they have their fair share of bright people.

all non-western nations need to work hard to create world class higher education institutes, this monopoly the us/west has in this is part of their hegemony.

Now now we have enough indians obsessed with pakistan. Its incredible we now have pakistanis obsessed with pakistan. whats going on? lol
