We have considerable design exposure, and many of Indian designed (by Intel/Qualcomm) chips are commercially available.

India needs to provide deep incentives to bring semiconductor wafer processing industries.

The semiconductor multinationals have design houses in India. It is a lot different running your own private design firm without financial backing of Intel or Qualcomm
