India meddling behind halt of Sinovac vaccine trials in Bangladesh: source

The report said Sinovac asked the Bangladeshi government to share the cost of the clinical trials on CoronaVac scheduled in Bangladesh and said that the same condition has been put in other countries where clinical trials had been carried out. Bangladesh refused such a condition and turned to India for free vaccines, the report claimed.
ঢেঁকি স্বর্গে গেলেও ধান ভাঙ্গে। Bangladesh has no self-esteem. It remains a beggar country as if the world's all other countries are responsible for its welfare.

Good decision though. Sonovac is only 50.4% effective found at Brazil during trial much below than other vaccines.

But, the GoB has chosen the Indian vaccine only because India donates it while China wanted BD to share the cost of trials and benefits. China one would have caused us to become a partner of China in the search for an effective COVID vaccine. Actually, no medicine can claim 100% perfect in the beginning. It takes time through trials and errors.

No self-respecting country seeks donations. Think of Japan in the 2011 earthquake. It declined foreign help and the western countries had to force it to accept nominal bits of help. BD is just the opposite.

Our leaders wait eagerly for calamities to strike whereby the country receives a big amount of donations, and its bureaucrats and politicians steal a big share of that money.

When the GoB receives India aid with a broad smile its citizens here talk about how backward and poor India is comparing to a great BD.

India has not donated but we are buying it from India. However India sent 2m doses as gifts. They sent it to number of other countries as well which they termed as vaccine diplomacy.

What about Turkey ,a much more advanced nation in Medicine ,found it 91% effective?
.

Proud of lowly beggar like behaviour? They know the character of that south asian nation, nothing new, short-sighted parasites only prefer to live off others .It's obvious that BD gov didn't want to spend money in trial like other decent nation to ensure vac safety for the civilians, but instead it prefers cheap unregulated Indian vac for their dispensable population.
And the other astra vac that BD has recently ordered has an efficacy of 27 per cent against silent virus carriers based on trial report. If trialed in frontline workers where risk of infection is 3 times higher like in case of sinovac trial through frontline workers in brazil, the efficacy of astra against silent virus carrier would be 9% ;all these regardless of the death toll associated with these vacs.

Gobar Lagao. Corona Bhagao.

@Homo Sapiens bhai I believe this is your handle - isn't it? 8-)
I did not invent this slogan though. This actually came from andh-bhakts who like to popularize the 'facts' by making slogan they learn from their leaders who claim such things-

Watch if you can handle. I wonder how can some human who are supposed to be the best of creations can go such a low. Perhaps pigs have a better sense of hygiene than these crawling maggots.

We donated half the development funds for developing covid vaccine to Serum Institute of India, Sanghis insisted we donate, now if this is not Bhikh (Bhikkha=alms=something given to poor), I do not know what is...

So Sanghis are,

a) Kanjoos, and
b) Bhikhari

They have dragged India's "reputation" through the mud, if there was any left.

That and the fact China never wants governments to disclose the cost of their "vaccine". They make sure that the terms are NEVER DISCLOSED. This way they hide the underhand payments and outright corruption in foisting a barely working vaccine onto a unsuspecting populace for experimentation.

"MANILA — Beijing offered the Philippines the COVID-19 vaccine from its state-backed Sinovac Biotech at a "BFF" or "best friend forever" price, Malacañang said on Thursday, after a lawmaker urged the government to rethink the procurement over efficacy concerns.

The Philippines has booked 25 million doses of the Sinovac vaccine, which Senate finance committee chair Sen. Sonny Angara earlier said cost around P3,600 per 2 jabs. ($74.88US).

Communist China is "not driven by market forces" and can "unilaterally fix" its vaccine prices, said Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque. "

I am sure every Bangladeshi can afford $75 for the Chinese vaccine.
Reading PDF I am informed Bangladeshis will not ride on Indian Motorbikes or Cars. They only drive in their Rolls-Royces and Lamborghini's.

What's the point of off topic trolling? Jaley? Kiun Jaley??

Bangladeshis won't buy ugly Indian piece-of-$hit 2-3 lakh tin-cans no matter how good or bad they are or how much screaming Sanghi trolls do on PDF. Rolling death traps would be a more apt name.

And Right now they get mostly zero or one star safety rating on NCAP testing. Front seat occupants are not expected to survive any crash. Pathetic.

Now stop derailing the thread further.

It takes a certain level of pettiness for one to, accept free shots, then sling shit at us. Certainly, the PDF lot are disconnected from reality. Ask your government not to accept gifts from Sanghis, if what I read is right, 2 million doses is a very generous freebie from Sanghis lol.
As for passenger safety, why are you frothing at the mouth, you ain't any rich except the claims of riding mercs and drinking expensive coffee. You can't travel in Dhaka without seeing at least one Indian bike. Posting old videos conveniently hoping nobody calls you out ain't smart.
Safest-Cars-in-India.jpg

Now get back to topic, you can't afford to spend money on expensive vaccines, so you had to get alms from us for emergency usage. Be thankful to the Sanghis who gave em for free and move on instead of embarrassing yourself.

The gift is always donations if it is not for the Birthdays. BD received gifts from a poor India which you guys here systematically bash for being poorer than BD itself. So, which one is true?

In a single post, you are assuming so many hypotheses and bashing China for doing its part of finding out the vaccine.
