India launched the RISAT-2B (RISAT-2B) RISAT-2B satellite with its X-band radar, according to a report by the nasaspaceflight satellite, the new generation of the RISAT satellite family.The previous satellite, RISAT-2, TecSAR. The current satellite probably contains radar based on this technology in cooperation of the aerospace industry and ISRO.
The satellite weighs approximately 615 kg twice the RISAT-2, as their predecessors are designed to operate for at least five years, and the RISAT-2 has already passed this period, following the route since April 2009.
