India is taking our jobs. It is not going to happen anymore, folks!” - Trump

most of the world see India as more believable than western news sources.

As long as Google is there, their perspective will be more visible than our perspective. We need our own google soon, atleast for Indians only. But the problem is corruption, that who will manipulate that search engine, which party, which sector. We as a natiom have no narrative i feel.

Well as I said before, instead of blaming me you might consider that the majority of your fellow Indians I have interacted with here, had they been on the payroll of Islamabad in order to sully the image of your country, could not have possibly done a more effective job with me. A complete 180 degree turn.
I think you need to look at India's actions not at individual posts.

Did you see the Pew report on global attitudes to America? I think we like you better than you like yourself - or pretty close anyways!

We tend to align with America on most geopolitical objectives - and I think we have been taken for a ride by you guys several times. As a developing country we did not have the same information resources and clout that you do and as a result got bullied and short changed.

I do agree with you on one thing, and that irritates me too- our political class are sanctimonious to a most irritating degree and the more left wing they are - the worse it gets. As india shifts to the right and because we are naturally and historically good negotiators and good business men - we will drop this incessant moralizing in search of profits,. The sooner that happens the better for everyone.

I thank you for your intelligent, and well mannered post. I wish I could read more posts like yours as it is mind-changing, but unfortunately, that has not been my experience.

I have to agree.

We need to control our own narrative

There are 1.2 billion of us. 15% of humanity.

It takes all sorts . :-)

What do you mean,he can veto but if 2/3rd's of votes are reached, the veto doesnt mean anything?
The Senate can block presidential appointees, like the Judge to the Supreme Court, block clock treaties and agreements with other countries?
What kind of power is it when a Democrate is president and the Senate is Republican?

Congress for Kids: [Legislative Branch]: The Veto
A bill becomes law if the president signs it. The president doesn't always wish to sign the bill. He may choose to say "no" by vetoing it. If this happens, the bill is sent back to Congress. If two-thirds of all the members of Congress vote "yes," the bill can still become law. The bill dies when there are not enough votes to override the President. For example, when George Bush was president, Congress tried to override his vetoes thirty-six times but was successful only once. Sometimes a president decides to do nothing. He may decide neither to sign nor veto a bill. If Congress is in session, the bill becomes law after ten days without the president's signature. Otherwise, the bill suffers a pocket veto and does not become law.

Yup, that's what we need an honesty certificate from the country that OBL was hiding in for 7 years!

:hitwall:
Their ally country took their weapons, aid, cash and in turn gave the taliban and OBL safe sanctuaries in their own nation, while crying victim of terrorism and feigned ignorance of OBL in front of their Western allies.
So you can understand the plight of West and how it felt by all of this.
At least in that matter we don't have duplicity.Russia knows about us being a long term friend and ally.:enjoy:

The problem is servers being located in USA.We need to relocate them here or build our own servers just like China did, when Google refused to cooperate with them and us .Once the servers are located here, then our search engines will be in our hands.Once it goes public you cannot do much manipulation in the end,Social media is there to take care of such narratives.

you can piss on mars, if you desire it and demand that your country realize your desire. :)

some mba-type asked elon musk a very indian-corporate type question - "what is the business model for your mars progam??"... elon replied that there is no business model for mars.

we daily see in india the depravity of capitalism... do you want capitalism in undeniable nature ( space ) too??

money system must be abolished... simple.

the mangalyaan mission is nothing... at least the chinese mars mission was bringing back mud from one of the two moons of mars, and the mission failed because the russian rocket malfunctioned.

it is never about money but about ability, ambition and confidence... elon musk's spacex company designed and manufactured their human-rated falcon 9 rocket ( which carried the first version of the 'dragon' space capsule ) was done for a few hundred million dollars.

the indian central government is spending 65,000 crore rupees ( nine billion dollars ) on buying unnecessary western fighter planes... couldn't this money have been utilized on turning india into a socialist state and invested one billion or even two on building a human-carrying space-plane??

and didn't i give link to the romanian 'arca space corporation'?? how much money would that little country's people have?? yet they designed a rocket engine and did many testings of other models.

please realize that next year, 2017, will be the 100th anniversary of the russian revolution... and at this moment, the indian social and economic environment has largely not much moved from what it was before 1947.

and yes, though i don't want to bring any unpleasantness here i must state that my allegiance with the older religions belong to the ideas of a visionary. :)

prove it.

prove that isro is not the creation of nasa and the europeans have no role in the continuation of isro.

why should pakistanis be your enemies??

for that matter what did north koreans do to you?? or iraqis or libyans??

rahul gandhi is right... if saudia has oil, india has had the useless it/services industry.

brighter than the saffronis. :)

the american member has told you what should be told... give time and change your attitude.
Wisen up oldman, we need to see the world as it is. let me introduce you to your opportunistic imperialist friend.;)

If a man is not a socialist by the time he is 20, he has no heart. If he is not a conservative by the time he is 40, he has no brain. – Winston Churchill

Riiightttt.......change your flags back to India first? I don't write crap on here. I can assure you, I've known plenty of large companies CEO's over the course of past 15 years at the least. And trust me, I know this game inside out. The bribe and favors go way beyond the upper management.

They go down to every level unfortunately. Plus, a LOT of the H1B's.....aren't even real. You should google H1B fraud and read US law enforcement's legal cases before you put your nose into a topic where you obviously have 0 background in, or you are simply playing stupid.

Here's one example, one time in 2011, a small Indian company's CEO came to meet me. During lunch, we talked about Economy and stuff. And I just casually said, we just went through a round of interviews last week, and I was surprised to see how many local kids were jobless with great education and degrees, and in one of the most busiest commercial areas.

His answer to my statement was, "yea, I am worried too, since the economy went down in 2008, there are probably a few hundred thousands Indian kids graduated with degrees without jobs, waiting to come to the US.

When I heard his answer, I was shocked to say the least. I was worried about local American kids without jobs, but his head was worried about the Indian kids......while he lives in the US, makes millions of dollars here, and has 0 loyalty to America. THAT is my issue.

I respect Indian kids and Chinese kids just as much as I respect our American kids. But when you live somewhere and earn the best that you couldn't earn elsewhere, and enjoy the best lifestyle (talking about America), you have got to show some fukking loyalty to this country !!

Even if Indians are coming to the U.S. on false grounds, and accept lower wages,
it is still Americans that hire them in the end.
Nothing is stopping American companies to refuse WiPro etc. business.
And the best place to live is according to most polls in Scandinavia/Nordic Countries, LOL...

.
Trump needs to win, he is the only one who can stop the indians from stealing jobs that rightfully belong to the americans.
