What's new

India is not Britain

Just a thought for the future. Who knows? :D

I do not see how you guys will address the current outstanding issues without some sort of military alliance.
Indian foreign policy is based on non alignment, which we had to abandon during cold war(specifically duing and after 71).
But that never went away, there is a consensus among all parties that non alignment is the way to go.

Which outstanding issues can be solved by military alliance?

Look at all these british hindustanians here..
I think you completely misunderstood the video. Its nothing about british.
They are comparing british - US relation, with India - US relation, and saying India canot be expected to be like british.
Rather India's behaviour is more like that of france.
You do understand why they referred france, right?

Title is enough for me.

Title is enough for me.
Well title is misleading. Were you the guy who said he can understand the whole post by just reading title or looking at picture. lol.
BTW quiz question for you, why did that guy think India behaves like france?
(hint: nothing to do with wine/women/language)

Title is enough for me.

You need to watch the video again (assuming you did that in the first place). Listen to the part at 1:35 where the British guy says "India is not Britain... that it's not gonna' be a global lieutenant of the United States...".

If you still can't understand in which context this was said then I'm sorry, I can't help you. Good luck with the rest of your schooling.

India do have balls to take on China. US, Japan, Vietnam, Australia, and South Korea are looking at India to take on China

After the successful failures of Arjun, LCa, Tejas, Aksh, and now Kaveri, DRDO is now tasked to produce one million pirs of highly advanced fully indiginuous balls for indian armed forces.

Very Soon after 11 and a half years we will not be able to use "you don't have the balls" phrase with bhartis because in that short period of time DRDO after spending millions sorry crores of rupees and years of research on american, gernman, russian, french, brazilian, korean, japenese, israeli, and many other "balls" will start delivering highly advanced, fully indigenuous shot proof, shock proof, unbreakable, auto inflating water balls.......................This would help one million indian soldiers standing on the border to keep busy and have some fun and bhartis would proudly declare that their army has big balls.

the ottoman had to go. they were misruling their whole empire and were well past their shelf life.
well.. indians threw out the british too.. you are forgetting that. what you are saying makes no other impact than being cheeky.
and why the hell are pakistanis thanking this. they were also a part of it

If I am not mistaken Singapore is R & R destination for US Navy.

RnR for the US navy? where you got the information from? From your indian media or simply pull out from your own rear? American navy ships are only allow to dock in for maintenance and supplies in Sinapore only. US naval personals are prohibited to anyhow to come aboard from their own ships except with our prior consent.

So much of your knowledge about our Asia and Singapore, Mr. so-called Asia spokesman.

The new indian navy doctrine: "To be the world largest R&R navy". LOLOL.

Thats true for any country and when their ships maintenance in Singapore whats their sailors are doing in Singapore..they are doing Rest & Relaxation aka R & R and according to Wikipedia 100 USN ships visit Singapore yearly and 200 USN personnel are based in Singapore. Also USN maintains a Navy Regional Center in Singapore:
About NCRS and Singapore

Singapore also signed 'The Strategic Framework Agreement for a Closer Cooperation Partnership in Defence and Security' with the United States in 2005.

So by the looks of it Singapore has a far closer relationship to USN than with China as you claim.

Pretty normal.

Including their media :D

What a wonderful way to get thanks.

1. R&R stands for "REST AND RECREATION" not "rest and relaxation". And "R&R" is a privilege but not an obligation, can you understand what is the meaning of PRIVILEGE only, dude.

2. A permanent US navy staff based on land is treated as a common civilian when he steps out from his navy center. Wise up.

3. Whether US or China is closer to Singapore is none of India business.

4. FYI, india is not even come close in our radar, so piss off!
