Indo Russian lease mean means 10 year lease and then we own them with rest of the fund .

This can be used for anti shipping ops in IOC.
But suppose we lease these aircraft can someone tell me the following:
1. How long would be the lease period if we have to lease these aircraft like we did last time?
2. Maintaining these aircraft ?
3. Possible weapons that would be used on these aircrafts?

1. I dont think India will lease this time.. as india is now full fledged member of MTCR... it can officially buy long range weapons.. and other tech without any major hassle. that been said these sets of Tu should be coming with refuelling pods.. if so its range will be Intercontinental.. meaning SCS..
2. Well maintenance of these kinda aircraft are always high.. it suffered heavily during fall of Soviet.. but now it has been upgraded with new engines and other changes according to the video posted above by @fsayed .. so i guess it should definitely improve..
3. Possible weapons.. Brahmos.. just imagine the fire power.. launch from andaman together with our Pi's and escorted by SU.. can create such massive destruction over enemy ships.. its just mind boggling.

Well.. leasing was when india was not a member of MTCR and russia was.. so officially russians cant sale long range missile and subs.. but it can give it on lease.. that was a loop hole.. and india exploited it fully.
MKI.. if we successfully carry Brahmos on Tu... thats half of the MKI done.. xD

It can carry a total 10 kh-22s( 5800 kg each)....I am sure it can carry as many Brahmos easily. lolz

Tbh.. until and unless you are not 100% efficient.. every one will try to gain on you and make some profit.. thats not limited to Rus or US... we cant blame them.. their own economy was mess.. so it hampered Indian weapon acquisitions. But you cant forget Rus did what for India.. and no other country can even come close. Thats something you can write back home.

First of all Russians will not sell their top end strategic assets to India,no one will. Secondly tu160 is actually a long range missile carrier not a pure bomber and we don't pisses any such missile now which can exploit tu160 fully.
